House - Shichimi Togarashi - Japanese Mixed Chili Pepper 0.63 Oz

The flavour is great and it's not too hot. I mix this with Panko breadcrumbs to add as a topping for baked mac and cheese and it really adds a very distinct flavor to the dish.

I've had other brands that were much spicier per-pinch but this works just fine and a must have in my dish

I LOVE this stuff! I buy it regularly just for my use but since I’ve been using it my son, his girlfriend and her family have all started using it. The blend has an earthy, savory flavor. The heat is similar to very fine crushed red peppers. It’s much easier to control the depth of the heat because of how finely it is crushed. I don’t detect salt flavor at all. It’s a bit pricey, not horribly, and well worth it.

I bought this because I really liked this particular spice blend that came in my Bue Apron box. It wasn’t the same, sadly. Too spicy for my taste. However, if spice is your jam, you’ll love it. I gave it to a friend who has the devils tastebuds, and she loves it!
