Fantastic tool for aftermarket TPMS sensors in an Honda Odyssey
My original TPMS sensors started to dye after the 7-year-old batteries in them got drained in my 2012 Honda Odyssey. I was hesitant to buy aftermarket sensors for fear that I would be unable to register them with the car. But a set of four aftermarket sensors costs the same as one original. I bought the AUTOKAY Set of 4 TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR TPMS FOR Honda 42753-SNA-A830-M1 TRW SET-TS14, here on Amazon, as well as this tool, whose version is the "Ultimate." I connected the bidirectional scan tool Autel MaxiPRO MP808 and followed the prompts for registering new TPMS sensors, where you need this VXDAS tool to wake up each sensor as prompted. If you are changing the sensors for all your wheels, I recommend that you register the sensors before installing them on the wheels or at least before inflating the tires when you still have a direct view of the sensor with this VXDAS tool. Just make sure to keep track of where each registered sensor is going to go. If you are registering the sensors after you installed them, as I did, make sure to point the head of the VXDAS tool directly at the sensor from the tire vertex formed by the outer sidewall and the tread "bottom" plane. You have to keep it there, for about 1 min, until the light in the VXDAS tool turns off because the registration occurs when the progress bar in the scanner is between 85% and 100%, probably because other frequencies to wake up the sensors are tried first. The exact time when the sensors are detected in each case will probably vary depending on the sensor you are using. I hope this information helps somebody. I highly recommend this tool if you are changing your own TPMS sensors and you have a bidirectional scanner with a TPMS registering function available to you, or if you have a car that you don't need a bidirectional scanner to register new sensors.

Doesn't work for my vehicle
I purchased this item because it was the only moderately priced TPMS reset tool I could find on Amazon that listed "Toyota" compatibility. (I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma.) The unit arrived quickly but when I followed the instructions to put the vehicle in "learn" mode, nothing happened. The instruction sheet included a QR code for instructions for other vehicles, but when I scanned it I got a message that the website could not be reached. I did an extensive on line search and could not find instructions for my vehicle, and finally found a chat discussion where another Toyota owner (2007 Camry) was looking for answers. That chat ended with the finding that this unit does not work for any Toyota vehicles before 2018.I am returning the unit because it is apparently incompatible. It would be nice if the product description would include more information regarding compatibility, such as year model. The failure to have a working internet site added to the lack of compatibility information.Considering the poor information support I can't give this product more than one star.

2017 Buick LaCrosse
This worked well on my 2017 Buick LaCrosse with 20" wheels. Brought it to the dealer recently for a rotation, along with some other work. Turned out the sensors were not relearned after the rotate. Figured I would try to fix it myself. It did take a bit longer or different positioning of the transmitter to relearn a couple of the sensors, but it worked on all of them.Followed the process from the owners manual1. Set the parking break.2. Place the vehicle in ON/RUN/START ( start the engine )3. Make sure the Tire Pressure info page option is turned on.4. Use the DIC controls on the right side of the steering wheel to scroll to the Tire Pressure screen under the DIC info page.5. Press and hold ✓ in the center of the DIC controls. The horn sounds twice to signal the receiver is in relearn mode and the TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message displays on the DIC screen.6. Start with the driver side front tire.7. Put the EL-50448 tool top against / near the sidewall close to the valve stem. Press the transmit button to activate the sensor. A horn chirp confirms that the sensor identification code has been matched to this tire and wheel position.8. Proceed to the passenger front tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 7.9. Proceed to the passenger rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 7.10. Proceed to the driver side rear tire, and repeat the procedure in Step 7. The horn sounds two times to indicate the sensor identification code has been matched to the driver side rear tire, and the TPMS sensor matching process is no longer active. The TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message on the DIC display screen goes off.11. Turn off the ignition.12. Adjust tire pressure as needed.

It worked for 5 years.
I've had this about 5 years to the day (5 years and 10 days minus however long it took to arrive after order). During that time it worked. I swapped out to the snow tires/wheels today. During the TPMS re-learn procedure, the unit stopped dead. Put in a fresh 9V battery, no change. The transmit light doesn't come on even. I got one tire learned before it pooped out.Granted, I've had it 5 years, but it has very little use time on it; given that it's actually in use no more than 4 minutes a year. I figure it's on up to 30 seconds per tire for a relearn, so that's 2 minutes max per session and there are 2 sessions per year. So we're talking only around 20 minutes max that is has actually been used. I wanted it to last at least as long as the car. Bummer.

Don’t buy
Not worth the money does not meet up to a lot of sensors a lot less than what they promised
