Easy install, works fantastic!
Impressive all the way around!! The screen is bright, easy to read and very clear, the brightness can be adjusted and the entire thing is easy to navigate and moves easily through screens and settings without hanging up or having a heavy touch. The materials are great, hold up nicely and are extremely durable. It is easy to install and get connected, I have had no connectivity issues after set up, everything stays just as it should and wiring is greatly fitted so that things do not come loose. This is a very impressive piece, would make a wonderful gift for anyone looking to upgrade! Beyond worth the value

One of the better larger screen solutions on the market
One of the reasons you get a Pioneer stereo is for the quality and additional features that are offered - that is no exception here; every aspect of the stereo feels snappy and well thought out. While I don't have a vehicle to test Maestro I can say that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are quick to connect and more reliable than ever - no more faffing with bluetooth or wifi settings if for some reason they aren't connected, they just work. Some software items are gimmicks, think of WebLink (just use carplay or aa) and don't even bother with AlexaThe multitude of accessibility options for the speakers is more than I would ever need for me car - audio has been superb with my 4 Sony 6.5s. I compared it to the lower end 6.5 inch Pioneer and couldn't really notice a different in the range of volume for my unit.Screen wise, expect to see some glare but the added brightness may assist with those more bright days. The screen is finally up from 1024x600 and now to 720p! A small difference but it makes the world!Control wise you have volume and mute buttons at the top of the bar, so happily just included some physical controls. The luminous bar is something... I could live with or without it, to me it's slightly distracting but a nice feature for some I am sure.

BEAST! ...but pricey
Beast of a stereo. Not quite as feature rich as the cheap Chinese android versions but a lot higher quality. You won't get access to app stores and such but as a car stereo and with standard car features, it is an amazing upgrade. Plus actually had some software development to work out a lot of bugs that you are going to find when using cheaper alternatives. You get what you pay for and that adage is no different when it comes to Car Head Units and this Pioneer doesn't disappoint. Much much higher quality sound. Very clear high resolution screen, every output option you could want for amplifiers and extended speaker systems. Only thing that hurts here is the price of all that R&D and support and for that I have to take a star off. It is incredibly expensive. If you have the cash to spend and get frustrated by things not acting right, it's still the stereo for you.

Get the PxLink app!
Get the PxLink app.It has only 20 reviews on the Google Play store with an average review of 2.5 stars. This is not great. It does have 5,000 downloads. The Pioneer sound system works much better with that app if you can get it to work. Luckily, I was able to get it to work but obviously other people have trouble I'm not sure how well it works with the iphone. Overall, for $700, it's a superb receiver and it will upgrade your car nicely. I hope the photos of the Box can help you get an idea of how it looks. Installation was a breeze but I am somewhat technical so it's not that hard for me.Instead of buying a new car with a built-in video device, this is a much more affordable way to do it. It has a unique illumination technology that supports your driving experience with an intuitive Road guidance support. It can help monitor your parking as well. Detailed sound adjustments allow you to customize your audio settings to your liking.

Lacks some of the bells and whistles, but this is a solid plus size head unit.
tl;dr - big display head unit that is comparatively inexpensive and just works. What I liked:+ Fast and reliable CarPlay connection. My iPhone 12 quickly connects every time it starts up without issue.+ Electrical connection to the display is not hard mounted (it's cabled) making it easier to get the screen positioned and puts less stress on the connectors.+ Large display is clean in its layout, responsive and easy to operate.+ Has plenty of audio control via EQ, crossover freq, crossover slopes, etc.+ 6 channel 4V preamps+ You can even connect a subwoofer (Rated Max 70Wx1 @2 Ohm) directly to this head unit by bridging the rear channels. That's wild!+ Also has physical buttons for volume and mute.+ Overall fit and finish is excellent.+ One of, if not the most inexpensive major brand plus size head unit. What I was neutral on:~ Resolution of 1280x720 on this size display is average. It's not terrible by any means but comparing your typical phone display to this head unit and you'll immediately notice the PPI difference. In use while driving, it's honestly fine. I really only notice the difference when playing movies (while parked) for my kids.~ Only one USB 2.0 connection.~ No HDMI inputWhat I didn't care for:- Not cheap. I know I said that I liked that this unit was inexpensive, but that is only comparing it to major, well-known brands. If you are willing to dip your toe into the lesser or no-name brand Android head units, you can get one this size for much less than half this price, though I can say firsthand that's a real mixed bag of performance. This Pioneer is worth the cost just for the reliability (i.e. way less frustration) in its CarPlay connectivity.I installed this in my 03 Honda Element and honestly couldn't be more pleased with how it performs.
