I am reviewing Shieldon's Leather cover, in dark blue, for an iPhone 16 Pro Max. The presentation is professional and flawless, arriving in a sealed heavy-duty branded presentation box that rivals what my phone arrived in. Tissue paper covers the case and inside is a foam insert to further protect the case. A thank you card is embedded in a custom opening within the foam. The whole presentation is one (1) of the best I have ever seen, this alone makes this a fantastic gift. The leather has a classic aroma of fine quality, it's near sweet to the nostrils, rather than mildewy. This perfect aroma suggests to me the phone was correctly processed. It's a perfect aroma, not overwhelming. The exterior of the leather is so smooth and soft, suggesting an extremely well tanned and processed leather. It's absolutely first class texture. A small swatch of leather is attached to the case, corroborating this is real leather, not PU [fake] leather. The stitching is flawless, no loose threads and no crooked seams. The only impression is that there is not much stitching, so, it's a tad plain [as my previous phone case had double stitching, including where the cover bends to act as a stand. The color is spot on with no imperfections, such as high or low spots. Installation of my phone was perfect, so the measurements allow a perfect fit. With my presently limited use, the phone gives an appearances of resisting scratches. The interior has the same soft leather feel. Since this phone resists electronic scanning, I see the material that does this, where the phone fits in. It's not an objectionable material. The magnet, without the phone inside, is strong and closes the phone. This carries over when the phone is within. However, when I started adding identification, a credit card, and some cash, the case grew in thickness (and it's kind of thick to start with) rendering the effectiveness of the magnet closure near completely useless. I am okay with living with that though. I can understand why these cash, credit card, and ID slots are being placed on the outside or a strap is included, to keep the case closed. I have had strapped covers before, I am okay with such, however, prefer magnetic closure. But, again, use as a wallet defeats the magnetic closure. Money wise, this is very competitive in price; and although I consider this a premium made cover, the price, in totality, is not premium. I would opine that all its features make the phone lean on the bargain side. My overall opinion on value is that I received fair to exceptional value. Country of origin is China.Is this perfect?Hmmm, no - because the phone is a tad thick to start with expands even further when used like a wallet. However, that appears inherent with these types of phones, so, I am "not" going to reduce for that.Rating?In the totality, I consider this a weak five (5) star.I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

I just bought my 6th case because I like the Shieldon quality and design phone cases better than anything I've seen. I especially like having the easy open front cover (like a book) that can be held open to take photos (it just takes a bit of getting used to), it can fold around behind the back so the front screen remains visible when you leave it lying on a table etc., and it can be set up with the back as a support if you are watching some kind of video streaming on your phone.I had my last case on my iPhone 8 Plus for 7 years. I've accidentally dropped my phone a number of times, but due to the case there was zero damage. I just took my phone out of the case to look at it, and it is in perfect condition and looks brand new, not a scratch anywhere after all these years of usage. This is a good testament to how well the case protects. Even the old Sheldon case looks pretty much like new! I also like how the case can protect the phone when it's rolling around in my bag. Nothing bad to say about it, everything is good. The leather is very high quality and has held up perfectly over 8 years. This is all why I keep buying this model case. You have to be sure you are getting one for your exact model of phone, however. Each model has different openings for the camera on back and the various buttons on each side, so while a particular case might be good for several different phone models, you just need to always check that your model is listed on the one you plan to buy. I got the Retro Coffee color and it's beautiful, a fairly rich, dark brown that looks pretty much like the photo shows. There are usually a lot of color choices for these cases.There is also a MagSafe version of this case if you want to pay the $9 more for that feature, so if you use MagSafe chargers you don't have to remove the phone from its case, just lay it on top of the charger.

Shieldon make great quality leather case with good price , I use it since long time ago for my Samson S9+, really good quality, l love the real leather smell, I added the hang hole so I can hook it up with hanging band, magnet looks good , it can even hold the bills . Only thing is it cannot turn off iPhone while lid close ,I think that might be Apple not having the feature. Hope Shieldon can make leather iPad Pro case.

My husband and I have used this same phone case for the last 10 years. We buy a new case every time we upgrade our phones. Worth every penny! Holds credit card/license. Magnetic cover protects phone. If I’m in a hurry I just grab my car keys and phone.We have never had a damaged phone or broken screen. If we drop the phone the cover shuts giving us extra protection. I always get red so I can find in the bottom of my purse. Lasts for the full 3 years of phones life.

Had a few of these cases in the past and LOVE them for my work phone. Recently upgraded to an iPhone 16 Pro Max and bought the corresponding case to protect it. As with all my previous cases they are great quality, durable, and protect the phone nicely. I dropped my review on this one down to 4 stars because my phone does not seem to fit perfectly inside the case, with the bezels on both the top and bottom edges still being visible. I tried checking for debris inside the case and adjusting the top/bottom edges but for whatever reason it just wont seat correctly. Not a deal breaker and would buy again, just did not meet my expectation from previous experiences with this companies phone cases.

This is an excellent cover. the material is great and what I like is that, it does not matter if you get it wet, it does not change color, as long as you clean it and don't leave the liquid on it for a long time.
