Quantum Physics for Beginners: From Wave Theory to Quantum Computing. Understanding How Everything Works by a Simplified Explanation of Quantum Physics and Mechanics Principles

I have absolutely NO background in physics but I absolutely LOVED this book! I wish I would have found it years ago. I recently retired from teaching (elementary school - no physics there) and out of the blue on day I somehow got interested in quantum physics. I started watching TV shows and YouTube videos about the subject but still wanted more info so I decided to give the book a try. I was apprehensive because this is a difficult subject, but since it had the the word "Beginner" in the title, I gave it a try. No regrets! Definitely a good read with comprehensive explanations. Every chapter I read left me interested in learning even more!

I had an interest in learning basic quantum physics as a corollary to reading and spiritual work I am doing related to the nature of consciousness. I have no background in physics or advanced math and this book did a great job of explaining concepts in a way that I could understand definitely recommend it for people who are interested in the topic but don't have the science or math background to understand a more scientifically written work

Good book, easy to understand!

This is a fantastic little book! If you have ever been curious about quantum physics, want a solid introduction to a more formal course of study or want a great supplement to your ongoing studies, this is the book to read. Please note that this is NOT a formal textbook with derivations or higher level mathematics. However, don’t underestimate its value! One of the practical and unique qualities of this book is that you do not need to have mastery of elevated mathematics or advanced physics. As a result, you will obtain a very thorough and graspable understanding of the concepts fundamental to understanding quantum physics. This book does include important quantum physics relationships as well. These can serve as a springboard to more advanced study or derivation of such relationships. It has been my opinion as an instructor, that a solid understanding of fundamental principles must accompany any mathematical or physics relationship/equation. This book delivers this understanding in an effective, concise and easy to understand manner. Whether you are a student, professional or a physics enthusiast, you will find true value in this little book! Great

The first 30-40% of the book is well written & gives you a historical perspective. However, after that the author falls into a swamp of calculus formulas that made my eyes gloss over. This swamp gets worse as he introduces terms that he defines by themselves. If you are an absolute beginner with very little advanced math or physics education, you will not be satisfied & you will probably not retain what you have read.

I’m enjoying reading your book. It helps me to understand many basic concepts and it guides me through the historical development of physics. While reading this book and making notes (on it …sorry) I have many more questions and I can’t wait to see another of your amazing books to help me to better understand the world around me. Thanks
