Pleasantly surprised by this one!
Pleasantly surprised by this one.Purchased for my camper, wanted the ability to ceiling mount and also be able to watch a movie outside at night, but have the flexibility of a 12v power source so I can keep it charged from leisure battery, and with its USB-C charging ability it's perfect for this!If you think you're going to be able to clearly watch this right in the middle of the day with no shade then this isn't the projector for you, but then again, even my 3000 lumen Optoma gaming projector isn't the best in a fully lit up room!If however, you're willing to close your blinds, or even halfway, and get a very reasonable image then this might just be for you.Very quite fan, great picture for its size, auto keystone is a bonus, mega easy to set up, casts from my Samsung with no issues whatsoever (also has IOS mirroring function) inbuilt speaker ( not the loudest but sufficient in most cases), comes in a nice case with charger, remote, tripod, HDMI and of course the projector itself. Has LED lit up buttons, 2 USB ports, HDMI input, USB C, headphones jack, good build quality and finish... no complaints here.Highly recommend if you want a portable projector with an inbuilt battery that does the job for a very reasonable price. (I paid £149.99)

Excellent projector
This portable projector exceeded my expectations! you have access to YouTube, Netflix, prime and also the functionality to connect a HDMI device too. It is easy to set up and use,The image is bright, even in a dimly lit room, and the sound quality is decent. Comes with a handy remote that has the apps on it. Love it.. It’s small enough to carry around, making it perfect for trips Definitely a great purchase!

Good overall with excellent definition but VERY wide angle. Great in a caravan
I purchased this projector to use in my Airstream (caravan) and it worked well. The definition is very acceptable and the light output is fine in a confined space. The biggest problem is that it has a very wide angle lens and so the projector has to be close to the screen unless you have a huge screen. Mine was 32 inch (80cm) and it was filled from only 1.5 metres away. It didn't quite fit with my expected use but I was able to make it work. The auto keystone correction works surprisingly well.It would have been better if I had chosen one with a zoom feature but maybe next time.I didn't use the battery power feature so I can't comment on how long it lasts.

Things you should know
It is important to realise that while this item supports 1080p input as stated, the information in the listing does not make clear that that is not the native resolution of the output. On some testing the actual output appears to me to be 360p [based on a test 1080p image with an 18 pixel stepped slope appearing as having only 6 steps when projected, and measuring the length of 20 projected pixels and comparing to total image size], and on testing different sized images via the USB-A from a thumb drive it appears to also downsize smaller images by the same factor of 3 (tested with 720p, 480p and 360p images). While I would heavily criticise the manufacturer for not making this clear up front in the details, I did anticipate this, and at time of writing you would expect to pay around 4x this price for a true native 1080p projector of this size. While there is both an HDMI cable and a power cable (mains to USB-c,12V 2A DC) included, both of these are short and depending where and how this is intended to be used you may need to source longer ones. The power cable is welded in to the plug so extending it is not simply a question of a longer USB-c cable. It is provided with a good hard case, which is useful for storage or if the intended use involves travel, and set up was quick and easy, with simple and clear instructions. The image is decent for the native resolution, but if you are close to the picture (for the projected size) you will notice the pixelation inevitable with the resolution. On close inspection you will see a fine black border around each pixel, but again this is usual on such projectors. Brightness is OK for the machine size but you would probably not want to use this in a well lit room, especially if you want a larger image. It works fine on the battery (battery life on film watching not tested), and input using USB-a thumb drives worked fine for me.The item was bought to make a draw assist/art projector by mounting on a boom arm so it projects down onto the desk surface. In this context it functions fine at the resolution that it outputs. It will also work closer to the surface than the listing details imply (The listing suggests the minimum casting distance is slightly over 18 inches, but I am using it at approximately 13 inches to give total coverage of A5 with some excess in the long axis and focusing remains fine). Please note if you are considering such a project that a boom arm with articulations that screw-lock rather than are on light springs is recommended as the projector is heavier than a standard microphone. Also depending on what fittings come with your boom arm you may need some interconnectors (which are readily available cheaply) as tripod screws are different to microphone screws and you may also want a decent tripod head (again readily available) to ensure the projector can be situated in the correct position/angle.
