So, after watching numerous YouTube intro's to calligraphy I decided I'd have a go. I chose this set because a) it was recommended by more than one of them (not sponsored) and because of it's relatively low cost. I've used the pens and ink cartridges for over a month - so far so good. One pen (of the four) had dried up after a few weeks of inactivity as I was using my 'favourite' It didn't take long after a little cleaning an reinsertion of the cartridge and it was flowing smoothly again. Can't really fault the set. I've not used the two filler inserts as I prefer the cartridges! But I'm thrilled with the set and think it's great value but also really does work! 100% recommendation. Wow! My little one was over the moon with this set….comes with lots of different nibs and coloured inks to try out …. Great for someone who has just been awarded their pen license at school.

Bought this as a present for a friend with an artistic mind and outlook who was delighted with it. It will give her hours of immersive pleasure!

I hated my fountain pen at school and was so bad at using it that the school gave me an exception to use a ball point. Calligraphy is an even more complex artform, so was never going to interest me, but that does not stop my children from trying all different forms of arts and crafts. 'GC QUILL Calligraphy Fountain Pens Set' has plenty to get you going and works well as a tool to discover if calligraphy is for you.The set is nicely presented and feels suited for a teenager to uni level artist. The kit has two pens and several nibs and inks to experiment with. It all got a little messy when we tried it, but you can get some nice results. At under sixteen pounds for the lot, it is great value, but that is reflected in the quality. Everthing feels a little light, loose and not as good build quality as my artist partner uses. However, as a beginner set it works well.

The Calligraphy Fountain Pens Set is an excellent choice for beginners. With 5 different nibs and 18 ink cartridges, it provides everything you need to get started. The pens are easy to use and help create beautiful calligraphy. I am still learning but so far so good

This is a really well-presented fountain pen set. It comes in a gift box, which indicates from the outset what is contained within. You get a couple of pens, with a variety of nibs and a varied selection of ink cartridges. I wanted the pens mostly for writing, nothing fancy. So, I tend to stick to the thin to medium nibs. The pens are really comfortable to write with and do not seem to leak, which is often a problem with this type of pen.I would imagine you could do some really fancy things with these pens if you have a talent for calligraphy or neat writing. Unfortunately, I generally write like a squirrel chasing a nut on a string.For the price, though, this is a very interesting fountain pen set.

Contains two pens with different nibs, and plenty of different colours of ink cartridges. But it is exactly what it says it is - a beginners set, I would say good for a child/teenager.

I am really bowled over by this calligraphy set.The quality of the set makes it perfect for a gift or, in my case, to be able to treat yourself.You get 2 pens, which I love so I can have 2 widths of nibs on the go at once.You also get 5 different widths of nibs and caps so you don’t mess up the box with inky nibs.I love my bottle of glitter inks so I am really pleased that the set comes with not one but 2 cartridge converters.The lovely box and 20 cartridges are just the icing on this very lovely set.I really can’t believe what great value this set is
