Bought this on sale wanting something that would fit under the seat of my Toyota Tacoma and only use wasted space. It was the slimmest under seat sub I could find and it just fits under and clears everything. I did have to remove the seat to install but it has great sound for the price and fills in needed base notes. It has a nice thump, but won’t shake the doors off or blow your hair in the air like a pair of 1000watt 15” subs, so if you’re expecting competition bass in this small package you will be disappointed. I measured the actual cone area at 6” but if you include the width of the frame in the measure it’s technically an 8” so don’t be surprised if you thought it would be bigger if you measure what’s under the grill. The adjustment knob makes for a very nice fine tune feature, and having high and low level inputs made install a breeze. I was also able to position it so it doesn’t block the back seat heater vents under the seat which is a huge plus. I am thinking of adding a second one for the passenger side.

It's not an 8" subwoofer. The actual speaker is 5.5"s. Sounds ok. But false advertising. Fades at higher volumes. Returning for a Rockville or equivalent.

I originally bought this for a 32 Ford show car. It needed a little low end as the Polk Component speakers and amp.sounded great, but not allot of room for speakers 6.5"Low in the doors Tweeters higher in the doors and since it's a suicide door chopped coupe no interior room for obstructive speakers or a sub box. Not really needing a full blown SUB and another amp to fill up the trunk area ordered this for under the seat.Long story short I tried it in my saddle bag on my Harley and WOW! I had to buy another one. So easy to hook up and setup after install in my saddle bag it rounded the sound out on my bike with the lows my Skar wasn't comfortable with for an amazing sound. I will be buying a 10 as soon as my budget allows. Best value on the market Quality lows tunable & still have room for my chaps camping chair & cleaning stuff. If your looking to boost you game a little round out your system this little guy does it.

This little subwoofer is very nice. It has a lot of sound and has a great rang of sound output. I like the remote level control. Smaller than a piece of paper and a little over 2 inches thick. I was very impressed with this.

The mounting hardware is crap. They got paint in the screw holes for the mounting plates, so they're really difficult to screw in, and I snapped one of the screw heads clean off trying to install it. I had to use a thread chaser to clean the gunk out before I could put the screws in.The audio quality is not bad. It's not earth shaking bass by any means, but it does a good job of evening out the sound if all you've got are midsize speakers in your doors, and not a lot of room for a full-size woofer cabinet.

This particular mini sub with it's dimensions was the only one that fit perfectly underneath the passenger seat in a Chevy Roadtrek 190.If you have one of these camper vans and want a little richer and deeper lows, this is perfect.

This item is way smaller the pictured and does not.cpme with any wires to install with. Will hook uo this weekend hope it sounds better them.it looks or will be returning it
