Searched for days to find a 5 star printer that would print on both sides of a paper ("duplex"), not require me to use expensive cartridges, look good, FAX, perform well and be easy to set up. This one checks all the boxes! It was a little pricier than the other options but so worth it. Connected wirelessly easily (had a phone connector cord but my computer back has no jack for that so did not use it). Didn't have quality paper on hand to try it out but it printed seamlessly. No paper jam in sight. This will last for years! It arrived quickly & intact due to proper packaging. So happy with this purchase & a set up that took minutes (except for a 12 minute printer head alignment but there's no escaping that if you want great performance). Good job Canon! Farewell Hp & your price increase on the hp ink plan....

Easy setup, does very nice pictures, not very much colored ink, but at least it's better than a tiny cartridge. Canon colored inks have changed over the years where they yield less and less pictures per cartridge. At one time I bought a very expensive Canon printer and I printed 170 picture on one set of cartridges. Today's cartridges you cannot do that. Everytime I buy a new printer, I get less and less pictures. This new printer will help get more pictures without buying loads of cartridges. The operation of the printer is pretty much straight forward with no surprises or gotchas . I've had no paper jams. The paper tray adjustments are very stiff and difficult to slide back and forth. Kinda frustrating at times. Installing the printer heads was easy. But, opening up the top cover was difficult. No instructions on how to open the print head carrier. You have to wing it and hopefully you don't break something. The print heads are 100 percent replaceable if they go bad . Going on past use of Canon printers. You need to use Canon photo paper for the best results. Using other brands of photo paper the colors might look off.Warning for anyone who buys this printer. The black ink tank doesn't last very long. Canon designed this with relatively small ink tanks.

Installation was easy and the product features are on point.Fax: I don't use this feature.Printing: The printer was easy to setup and only took a few minutes to get installed and running after unpacking. I absolutely love the ink tanks in the printer. There are no cartridges to buy. There are very affordable refill containers that you use to fill the tanks within the printer. Yeah... so much better. The printer was fast and quiet. The quality is good and I am very pleased.Scanning: There a re a couple of features I really appreciate. I can scan directly to with my email or to one of many cloud services. There is a template creator where I can create multiple custom scan destinations. So nice to choose where I want it to go and eliminate extra steps. The document feeder and scanning is relatively fast.itThe only CON I have is the app used to manage the printer is slow to load. I have a 1GB fiber internet connection and although tolerable... it is a place for improvement. The app is not needed for regular printing, but for scanning and faxing.

This product replaced an HP All in One whose print head had given up after 10 years. I loved the HP and intended to find an HP replacement but when I saw what HP was offering these days, I was terribly disappointed at how cheap and flimsy the offerings were. The other downside was the continued price increase of HP cartridges. So, I started looking elsewhere, read a lot of reviews and ultimately settled on this Cannon GX 2020. It was easy to set up, just follow the instructions online, and it was up and running in less than an hour. It prints at a reasonable speed for me, does double sided operations, scans well, and print quality is quite good. Best of all, it has a document feeder, a very large paper tray, an ink tank, so no more expensive cartridges, and comes with a complete set of ink bottles for each color. I priced refills before I bought this machine and found the savings over HP cartridges to be very significant. So, all in all I am very satisfied with this printer. It's fairly quiet too and I can print from my phone as well as my desktop PC. Longevity is yet to be seen, since I have only had it for a couple of months, but it's a solid quality machine compared to everything HP and others are selling with flimsy plastic covers / parts, so it looks like it should last a long time. It looks good also next to my desk. Hard to go wrong for the price. I'm very satisfied

This seems like a nice printer, relatively compact for an all in one- duplex printing, auto doc feeder for scan or print, color touch screen, quiet and fast and the ink is super easy to fill. Makes crisp copies in black and color on plain paper, haven’t tried photos yet. The Wi-Fi setup wasn’t too bad with several Apple devices and a Windows desktop to setup. If I had any complaint to make, the printer comes with very minimal setup instructions and no operating instructions other than on the touch screen. I had to resort to YouTube for a couple of setup issues-if Cannon would just print a QR code on the easy setup instructions that would send you to a setup tutorial it would have been a no-brainer. Can’t speak to longevity as we have only had the printer a short time, but it is a nice upgrade from our old Cannon MX 970.
