Works great! Make sure you read about how to use it.
Fantastic device, although it comes with absolutely no documentation, which is expected given the nature of this project. You need to be familiar, or google up things like PS2 FMCB and Open PS2 Loader (OPL).Open PS2 Loader allows one to load PS2 titles from hard drive (on consoles that support it), network shares, and USB drives. If hard drive is not an option for you, the next best method is a network share, which works also great, but it's not that convenient for everybody. USB drive is convenient, but so cumbersome (can't use pendrives, need to use externally powered USB hard disks) and so slow, that should only be used as a last-resort option. Even in this case, there are a lot incompatibilities due to the very slow transfer rate.MX4SIO solves this, the load times are slightly higher than when reading from a network share, but very usable, and the games work just as good. I honestly could not tell the difference between loading from the original DVD or from the MX4SIO.Highly recommended accessory, but make sure to google up how it is used. You basically need an FMBC memcard, with a recent version of OPL (Open PS2 Loader), and this device with an sdcard formatted in exfat. This MX4SIO adapter is very well built and works well. It is really worth the trouble of reading about it.

fully functional
The unit works, if you don't know about the subject, I recommend watching several tutorials on Youtube, after seeing what the issue was, he was able to get it to work, he used it in fat32 mode, not exfat. It runs just as fast as an hdd, better than using the traditional usb. The product has good quality, one point to take into account is the compatibility of microsd, not all will work well, at the moment I use ADATA and it is slow, unlike Sandisk, so try a good SD.
