First, I will say if you do not have a licensed copy of mach3 don't get. Digital dream lan5160 is not supported because of the fact they sold this and others with bootlegged copies of mach3. I did some searching and found the plug-in for it and works great. I had some issue saving profile for my router and through trial and error because I am a novice you must save and shut the program down for changes to take. It is a bit of a pain but we'll worth it, because it will home wrong or forget the touch probe and jam the endmill into table lol. I put a 80mm fan on heating and have not had any issue running My nema23 motors on 3+ amps, motors don't overheat or skip steps. Their are 4 motor drivers you can use the 4th for a rotary axis or slave for another axis. Wiring was super simple, my board did not come with the din mount, but does have the drilled and tapped holes for the mount if you need. The handwheel OMG is so smooth and VERY SOLID, not something that feels like scrap plastic, it is very nice a bit heavy in hand but I did drop it and no cracks and still works great. The only gripe with it is you hit the E-Stop it works, but mach3 does not convey that e-stop engaged you still have to hit the reset button in mach3, and everything will work normally. Now the knob on mpg needs to be in off position for keyboard controls to work.i feel this is a great alternative to usb controllers and it takes up less space than 4 external drives. I would purchase it again.
