There are only two things I don't like about this. One is the board is stored rolled up and it's hard to get it to lay flat to play. The other is that the instructions, while adequate, are sparse.These are a trade-off though. One of the things I like best about this is it's small and easy to store. I live in a small NYC apartment. Not taking up much space is a big plus. The rolled up board can't be helped. Yes tyre could have gone with folded cardboard, but that's more fragile. I think this was the best trade-off. The sparse instructions could have been solved with a link to a website with more detailed information. Yes I can go searching, but these as ancient games where we're guessing how they were played. I want to be sure the rules sets are consistent. The last senet board I had used sticks painted on one side, not dice, so clearly variations exist.The games, while fairly simple as compares to chess, shogi, or go, are fun. I'd put them in the range of checkers or backgammon for complexity. Two player. Pretty short games. I'm having fun with them.
