A Must-Have for True Crime Fans
I'm a big fan of detectives. I was very excited to play this game. I wasn't disappointed! The game was well-designed and immersive, and I really felt like I was a detective trying to solve a murder. The game comes with a variety of evidence, including photos, docies, and letters which kept me engaged throughout the game.I played the game with my family, and we all had a great time. It was a lot of fun to work together to try to solve the murder. We even had a few heated debates about who the killer was!5 STARS!

Solvable but fun, slight issues with website.
So it turns out my gf and I have a higher IQ than 6 (in reference to a comment from another reviewer). The challenge is not easy, but is doable in the time. Once we got into the flow, we had fun. My gf debated with me afterwards how the person she thought was guilty( but wasnt) was still probably up to something devious.Without spoilers, we did have a repeated software glitch on the website where the puzzle messed up and we had to reset the website to fix it ( which also resets the timer). This was fun, I would recommend.

So much fun and keeps the mind going.
My two kids are teenagers. They absolutely love these crime files. They work together to figure out the answer. There is no fighting (although they never really fight and never really have as kids either) but they have a great time and find it extremely interesting. We all love criminal minds, Coldcase , Law and Order etc. so this is right up our alley and on a rainy or icy day it makes the day a lot more fun!

like this the most
we were played almost all unsolved case files games from amazon but this one definitely worth every dollar, seems a huge difference in approach in comparison to other different "china made" games because this guys did amazing job when created it. also feel proud of supporting this guys from Ukraine, they working so hard in these tough times.I also subscribed to this vendor and now waiting for new games from them, lol

Favorite murder mystery game so far!
If youre looking for something to do with your family, significant other, or friends this is a game for you!! My girlfriend and I played this game last night and it was so much fun! We loved how everything was connected and every puzzle had a logical reason in this game. Without a doubt, this game has become our top favorite!

Poorly Written
Looks great from the outside but the evidence is not written well. I think this may be created by a non-english speaker. It lacked directions and did not flow well. We solved it in 10 minutes, but were pretty underwhelmed by the experience. Sorry, but can not recommend this product

Not the best of this genre...
I would just like to preface this review by saying I love this game genre and have played quite a few of this sort of thing before. This one... is not good. I think it mostly comes down to design choices and investment choices.First off, the game is timed. It shouldn't be. This is not an escape puzzle game (which it seems to forget at times but I will get to that later), and while I understand they may have done so for story realism (again - I'll get to that one later), there is a reason why this genre normally doesn't have a timer. I'm not a native English speaker, and I soloed this - meaning I had to read EVERYTHING. That alone takes more time than they give you for the entire game. I checked. And I'm not a slow reader in English. It might be manageable in a group - but not for a single person.Second, there are redundant puzzles throughout. Your commanding officer sends you information but takes the time to encrypt it for some reason - not found evidence, mind you, but official documents or even original data. They are not difficult at all, but... why? Add to that a sliding puzzle you supposedly have to go through in their site and waste time and when you solve it... nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. Not even a permission notice to open the envelope connected to it. It makes no sense at all and just wastes your - counted down, mind you - time.Third, the story brakes immersion A LOT. The newspaper doesn't make sense as to when it got published if you read everything there, the translation is TERRIBLE (they really should have proofread it) and it constantly calls itself a game and mentions the website in the middle of "official correspondence documents" while at the same time expecting you to treat it with realism. No. I honestly can't when I try when you do things like that. Also, the characters are so formulaic and the writers tried so hard to make puzzles but not make them difficult that it winds up being something no actual person would actually use or leave behind or do.I will say this - they had a very good red herring. Even though you reduce the suspect list to just 2 fairly quickly, it is very easy to suspect the other guy. But that wasn't enough to save this one in my eye.I would NOT recommend this. Sorry guys. Better luck next time, and maybe figure out which game you actually want to make.
