Nice GPS
Had to return a different GPS as it would tell the wife to turn around if she ignored the misdirection of that device. This is working perfectly. Easy to program and enter addresses; quickly recalculates if a turn is missed. Great battery life noted on our one trip with it so far. Shape is sleek but not as stable as old Garmin unit unless inserted in the supplied mount, which the wife doesn't want to "bother with". Update was a breeze with the app and a PC.

Worth the purchase!
Great functionality and battery life it also will beep when you go into a different speed zone. The route accuracy has been correct every time I have used it while traveling from Tennessee to Florida. The screen size is good and does not block my vision of the road in any way. It is a good value for your money.

Similar to the Garmin Nuvi
I had a Garmin Nuvi for many years and finally had to replace it. This unit is similar but not identical in terms of format. I think the product designers simply fiddle with what already works fine and the result is mixed at best. This unit has done away with the annoying "recalculating" repeated announcement whenever the driver deviated from the directions (to stop for gas, etc.) A plus there. Mostly the directions were correct but it randomly confused "left" and "right" when arriving at a destination. Huh? This unit has been refurbished so, fingers crossed. I appreciate the designers staying with the familiar format (mostly) and decent graphics that can be understood at a glance.

Lite weight and works great
This is such a nice garmin and so slim. My husband wanted one for his VW bug and the only place it could go was on the windshield. It come with its own suction cup and stays on really well. He loves it and uses it every time he drive his car as speedometer doesn’t work in the car and he goes by the garmin.

Bad maps.
The maps are bad and can't be trusted. The most important part of any GPS system is the maps and Garmin maps are awful. Not only do the maps have the appearance of a MapQuest printout from 2003, they are also ridiculously inaccurate. Two days into a vacation and this unit has been retired because it got us lost twice. First it wrongly told us that a national landmark was on the left side of the road (it's on the right). Second and final mistake was sending us to someone's house instead of the University's Museum. It wasn't even kind of close literally miles away and thestreet name wasn't even the same. For safety's sake please stick with a more reliable mapping system. We were forced to go back to Google Maps because Garmin is completely untrustworthy and can get you into dangerous situations. Stick with the best. Yes, Google invades your privacy but they also don't have you rolling up to a stranger's house when looking for a museum.

Great GPS
Works great and even tells you what the upcoming cross street is. That has been incredibly helpful for work purposes when I cover 600 miles of a mountainous area often with no reception or internet.
