Perfect!
I love this little microwave. No electronic nonsense and settings to fuss with and it heats food perfectly. One minor complaint, the power setting can only be changed in increments of twenty (20%, 40%, etc), but I just use the 60% setting for things that need to cook at 50% and it’s fine. I still give it five stars for cuteness, functionality and ease of use!

Awesome microwave
This microwave is clean, safe, and beautiful. I just used it to reheat my food for two minutes and the food came out hot. Love this microwave. ❤

Stopped heating after five months, but they replaced
I bought this in Aug and it is now Feb and it is no longer heating. Big disappointment. I have reached out via their customer support and am hoping for a free replacement as this wasn't cheap. I will update if I get a replacement and it is an easy process or not.Update: I filled out their form online but decided to call. (The number on the amazon listing was incorrect, find it online.) A rep answered right away and was very agreeable. Told me to pack it up and include copy of my amazon invoice and they sent me a pre-paid label. I shipped it back and nearly immediately received a new one. This one has a slight buzz coming from it when not in use but heats fine, we will see how it is in six months though. I'm keeping it unplugged when not in use. The customer service was great and there is a year warranty so this is worth the buy. Hours of research showed me that there aren't really any micros that don't have problems anymore so it is what it is.

Love it’s cheery white retro look.
After our more expensive Breville died after only 3 1/2 years of careful use, I opted for something with a brighter look and smaller footprint. I sized down from 900 watts (.9 cu ft) to 700 watts (.7 cu ft) with this Emerson Retro white model. So far we love it. Some reviewers complain that they can’t figure out how to use the dial for exact minutes and seconds, instead of the Pre-Set function. Press Power, adjust power down by pressing that button or leave on 100%. Dial in your time and press start. So easy. I prefer dials and handles on microwaves and the chrome buttons are elevated, not a fingerprint- inviting touchpad. I like the reminder beeps if you forget you have something in the microwave, as I sometimes do when reheating coffee or tea. I appreciate the gentle nagging! The door latch is a little tight but we find that with gentle opening and closing, it’s working more smoothly after a couple of days. We needed minor time adjustments for morning oatmeal and fruit but it’s just a small learning curve. We felt that our larger, “dark and brooding” former microwaves were overkill in size and this perky smaller retro is a visual upper. So many reviews start with “I love it’s Look” and I agree. If it lasts as long as our Breville, at 1/3 the price, I’ll be happy. I remembered the Emerson Brand from an Emerson A.M./F.M. Clock Radio my parents bought me to take to college, over 50 years ago. Now I’m “dating” myself. (Don’t care.) ☺️

Extremely confusing and cryptic. Lopsided
Emerson took an initially good outward appearing design and made it a disaster and entirely unintuitive.1. It should not require reading thoroughly the manual to figure out how to use.2. The default mode is "auto mode" which is not automatic anything and is labeled A1-A9 in no logical order. The cook times are not automated, they are defaulted to a menu only shown in the manual, where A1 means "popcorn 3.5oz" and A2 means "reheat 14oz" up to A8 meaning "fish 14oz". How is anyone supposed to quickly understand or remember that A5 means "potato 16oz"?3. The default mode should obviously be "100p with timer knob adjustable cook time".4. "Auto mode" should actually mean "auto" meaning adjust time and power level according to food temperature and moisture, which this does nothing of. "Auto mode" here means "cryptic mapping between A1-A8 to arbitrary menu of food items associated with arbitrary portions to be heated".5. "power button" actually means "time button", but hidden in step 2. It should be clearly labeled as such "Power (multi press) + Time (knob)" not just "power".6. Why is there a dedicated clock button, but not a dedicated time button? A cook time button would be far more usable.7. Lopsided, the unit I received does not sit flat on a flat surface. There are only 2 legs with rubber grommets and they are non-adjustable feet. The rear is a aluminum protrusion only. By default, the microwave rocks back and forth from side to side when you press on it from either side of its body. The unit needs to come with rubber/silicone gap fillers to make it sit even on flat surfaces, otherwise the microwave rumbles back and forth unstably when you press any buttons or open the door.

We love it!
I’m always getting compliments on our tiny microwave. It fits perfectly in our kitchen without the loud and bulkiness of a microwave. It is easy to set up, does the perfect job and buttons are easy to manage.

Stylish and Functional
This microwave is as beautiful as it is functional! The aesthetic design blends seamlessly into my kitchen, giving it a sleek and modern look. The minimalist buttons and soft curves make it stand out from traditional bulky microwaves. It’s not just about looks, though—the performance is fantastic! It heats evenly, is super easy to use, and the pre-set functions are a lifesaver. I also love the compact size, which fits perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space. If you’re looking for a microwave that combines style and efficiency, this one is a total game-changer. Highly recommend for anyone who values both form and function!
