Easy to read. Very informative. I am a beginner. I am learning a lot from this book.

This is a wonderful book, to learn and use crystals. There are also different ways to use them for healing and different scenarios, and which crystals to use. It also includes Mantras and ways to meditate. Way more in this book, than just learning crystals!

I have taken this book out of the library so much, that I knew I had to own it. This book is just informative and straightforward. The author comes across as a warm, friendly, super knowledgeable friend sharing what she knows with you. There is no "buy this very expensive one you must!" yada yada yada. Instead, there is look around and find out. Figure out what works for you and go from there.Plus, you'll learn a lot. Do you know what entrainment is? I did not, until I read it here. (Mood contagion, basically). I was not aware that crystals could be grouped by lattice pattern. Orthorhombic is a diamond-shaped pattern, for instance. The concept of piezoelectricity is fascinating. Tetrahedron aka pyramid shape - there's one for trivia night. This book is packed with information and insight.The 'One Stone - Many Names' section will save you money, as will the sections on which crystals will dissolve in water or bleach in the sun. (I haaate going to stores and seeing amethyst and rose quartz in direct sunlight, while their price tag endures unchanged). Being a book nerd with an extensive library, I would say buy a kindle and paper copy of this book with the money that you save, but that's just me.Anyway, to sum it up, this is an ideal beginner's book. It reads very much like my favorite cookbooks where it is both a pleasure to read and a trusted resource.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book, especially if you love crystals! 💎 It's packed with a treasure chest of insightful information. 📚 🎁 While numerous guides are out there, this one truly shines as one of the best! ⭐ If you're considering getting it, it is an excellent read for anyone interested in crystals, their qualities, and healing propertiesSome of the information presented in this book is inaccurate. I have experience with some crystals, but I didn't have a positive first experience, and I wanted to know about ones especially for my zodiac sign. However, it doesn't take away from its overall value and helpfulness. You can still trust this book and feel confident in its guidance.

I wish I had every stone this book talks about so I can carry and feel the energies. But that will be in stride. I know this. I've marked up my book and folded the pages so I know WHAT I have to have and what I want to look at when going to a store that has them in their rawest forms. I'm going to Sedona AZ in a couple weeks and I know the perfect store to visit. So I'm doing my homework first. I was there a few weeks ago and bought some beautiful pieces. This book has really helped me know what I can use, wear and keep close to me.
