They really do work and make a huge difference
I am absolutely ordering these again! I started using them as soon as I felt the tingling and they work really well. It took me a few attempts to get the hang of it but once you figure out how to apply them it’s really easy. The tingling started on Tuesday morning so I applied the patch (first picture is with the patch on) and the second picture was taken today (two days after). It’s already healing and the sore is really small. They are discreet but they do start peeling off after a few hours and it gets a bit annoying. Still a lot better than the alternative! So happy to have finally found something that works!

I thought I'd give these a go after being recommended them by a lady who worked in Tescos
I know these don't work for everyone (my sister doesn't get on with them) although I couldn't be without them now! I thought I'd give these a go after being recommended them by a lady who worked in Tescos. Although they were a little fiddly for the first few applications you soon get used to them and I now find them easy to apply. You peel half of the sticky backing off, stick the peeled half of the sticker on to the cold sore and then peel the rest of the sticky backing off. I suffer with cold sores on my lips mainly. You simply stick one of these patches over the cold sore and away you go. I find that once the sticker is on the cold sore visibility is highly reduced and it doesn't scab. Although my first attempt didn't look great and I wasted a couple of patches once I'd got the hang of applying the patch the patch is almost invisible and nobody has ever commented on noticing it. I certainly feel comfortable with how it looks. They are long lasting and only need to be changed when they start to peel. Mine have lasted longer than a day although as they're on my lips I prefer to change them more regularly as it feels cleaner after eating/drinking. Dependant on the exact cold sore location may mean the patch loses its stickiness a bit quicker, for example if part of the patch goes under my top lip it peels faster and generally needs changing every 3 - 4 hours and after meals.I'm not sure if these make my cold sores heal faster, although what I do know is that they make the healing process almost invisible and a lot more comfortable. I love that I don't have big scabs any more and no longer feel complete dread when I get that tingle. I don't suffer cold sores as frequently now althogh it's hard to say whether it's due to the patches or another reason.I will definitely continue to buy these and keep some on standby.

i will always use these from now on
I've always suffered from cold sores and I find that cream makes them spread on my lips. Leaving the cold sores alone seemed to work best for faster healing but accidents can happen and the scab can easily be knocked off.Discreet and MakeupTherefore, the reason why I loved this product so much is that it protects the cold sore to allow it to heal. They are also quite discreet and I managed to get the confidence to wear them in public and even a job interview. I also used old lipgloss over the patches. The only issue I noticed with makeup on the patches is that they make them a bit soggy and need replaces more frequently.DurabilityI found that eating/drinking can make the patches hang off your lip - which means they need replacing more often. However, I kinda figured out a way to work around changing the patches. If you stick them properly they last a long time.ApplicationIt took me a while to figure out how to apply the patches with the applicator. make sure your lips arent wet and use the plastic of the applicator to gently press on the patch. Always wash your hands before and after applying.IssueMy only issue with this product is that they are very sticky - which shouldn't be a bad thing but if you apply a cold sore patch wrong, or if you need to take it off before it starts peeling away naturally, it can hurt to take the patches off and can irritate the scab on the lip. I found I had a bit of bleeding.Try to avoid removing the patches prematurely. I just had no choice because I wanted to wear fresh patches in public as they aren't as noticeable as ones that have been worn for hours.I wish the middle part of the patch wasn't sticky and just round the edge but oh well.OverallI'm not sure if these speed up the process of healing but they deffo protect them and make me feel more confident. I always felt lost when I wasn't wearing them when I had my cold sores. I do recommend and will use these for the rest of my life.

Amazing!
I’ve suffered with cold sores since my teens (I’m 30 now) and I’ve tried it all. I’ve used all the creams, red light and heat therapy sticks etc (which do also work for the most part). Recently I’ve been getting cold sores a lot more often and I was away for a couple of days when I started getting that dreaded tingling feeling without my usual treatments with me. I popped along to a boots and picked up a pack of these without much hope however, firstly I am so impressed with the invisibility of the patch, you genuinely can barely see it when it’s stuck down correctly on your lip and it really does make the cold sore barely noticeable. If you get it stuck down right, and don’t touch it, it should stay there all day/ all night without budging. It very much feels like a protective layer that drastically increases healing time. I started getting a cold sore most recently on a Friday morning, wore these patches religiously day and night and my cold sore was near enough completely gone by Tuesday morning! Without any other treatments applied at all! These really are great and I will use these in the future for sure. Plus the Amazon price is a few pounds cheaper than the boots price so win win!

Decent but if left too long they are hard to get off.
Don't keep them on top long, they stick extremely hard

Imo, these are the best for coldsore relief.
These are the best coldsore plasters I've found, I've been using them for a few years now. They stick very well, the healing time is quick normally bringing the coldsore to a head within 12 hours. These are definitely the best value for money I've found that actually works.
