Battery warning exhausted
I bought this camera on February 26, 2025, hoping it would be a fun and convenient way to capture memories with friends and at college events. I was excited to use it for casual outings and special occasions. Overall, I only used it about six times—just here and there, whenever I remembered to bring it along.Unfortunately, about a month ago, it started having issues. Every time I try to take a photo, it gives me a "Warning: Battery Exhausted" message and immediately shuts off. I've replaced the batteries multiple times with fresh ones, but the problem persists. Whenever I try turning it on I have to press the power and photo button but then it still shuts off after. It's really disappointing, especially since the camera is still basically new and was barely used.What makes this more frustrating is that I have friends who’ve had the same model for years and have never run into problems like this. I was expecting something more reliable, especially given how popular this camera is. Right now, it’s basically unusable, and I’m not sure if it’s a battery issue or a defect with the camera itself.I really wanted to love this product, but based on my experience so far, I can’t recommend it.

Great quality pics, perfect for beginners
From instagram-style pics to landscape shots, this camera captures it all! This is my first digi cam, and I found it very easy to use. I used it on a trip with my boyfriend, and we had fun taking pictures of each other. I will say that recording videos can be kinda tough if you don’t have a steady hand, but this factor didn’t detract from my experience using it. Highly recommend!

After using a friend, my daughter requested this camera.
My daughter is using this camera to take pictures of her club in college. As the social media director for the club, she had borrowed one from the previous director and loved the ease of use and quality of pictures. She reports that she is very happy with this camera

Batteries run out too early
I love this camera, however there is definitely some downfalls to it. the batteries used run out of energy in about 2 days, meaning you spend more money overall on batteries then you would if you just spent the extra $20 ish on the fz55. It is a nice size, and overall produces some super gorgeous photos. But, i find maybe the fz55 would be more worth it for the same quality photos.

BEST CAM EVER. Look no further!!!
I love this!!!!! I will say it runs out of batteries fairly quickly so that’s the only con, but this reminds me of the canon G7X!! Couldn’t have asked for a better camera on a budget!!! There’s a beauty mode, too. GET IT
