A beautiful globe for adults and grandchildren.
This a beautiful globe. We have primary school grandchildren (ages 5, 7, and soon 9) and for them we already have large maps of the world and of the USA on a wall in our kitchen. They love to look at those maps. But we were missing the dimension that a globe would present. This globe is exactly what we were looking for.

Great globe, needs to be packaged better...
I got this as gift for my wife. She was absolutely delighted to have it.It arrived in a timely way, packaging looked fine.Upon opening, we found no real interior stabilizer materials to keep it from moving around inside the box, just a scraps of bubble wrap and foam. No where near enough to stop it from moving inside the box.Due to the lack of protection, the base has been bent, and the plastic degree indicator at the north pole is damaged and broken. In the future, I highly recommend additional packaging, or a complete re-evaluation of the packaging. The globe it's self is great and my wife adores it.

Where is Ukraine?
This globe is great for my home. I should have seen this globe all my life. I never remember for some places as Ukraine and Greenland and Palestine. After this time, as 86 old, that I know. Thanks.

Upside down...
The globe was beautiful, and I wanted to love it. However, I am returning it for three reasons:1. It squeaked with every rotation.2. There was a loose piece inside the globe that rattled every time the globe moved.3. The globe was poorly weighted and it wouldn't stay upright. Antarctica stayed on top most of the time unless I held onto it.
