Works well for keeping trailer tires properly inflated
Bought this to replace another compact tire compressor that died. Key requirement was high pressure capability (my trailer tires require 80psi, this unit advertises up to 150psi).A big bonus on this compressor has the ability to power from either 12V battery or standard household AC (110-120V AC). In the past I've used a 12V extension cord to reach from my truck's 12V port to the trailer tires, and these 12V extension cords cause a noticeable loss of power when inflating at/near 80psi (because of the higher current required for 12V operation). Plus I had to worry that the 12V outlet I was using could handle the current required (usually more than 10A for these kinds of compressors). Now I can simply use a standard household extension cord plugged in to my truck's built-in inverter outlet (115V AC) or the exterior AC outlet on my trailer (which I can power with the trailer's built-in inverter) and there is no noticeable loss of power even with a long extension cord, which makes this compressor much easier and faster to use.In fact this compressor works pretty quickly for its size. It was able to fill from 76 to 80 psi in a 16" trailer tire in about 2-3 minutes. I was able to do this fill in 4 tires consecutively without overheating the compressor (outside air temperature was pretty cold that day, about 32 deg F). After 10 minutes of cool-down as a precaution against overheating, I was also able to quickly fill from 76 to 80 psi in my larger truck tires. It is not a particularly quiet pump, I'd say about average noise level for this type/size, but given it's good rate of fill I'm perfectly happy with its noise level.Other things I like: Compact size, storage case, both power cords are detachable, very nice design for securing/storing the air hose (fits into slots on the bottom of the plastic case). This is a great little compressor for keeping my truck and trailer tires correctly inflated.UPDATE: after about 10 months of occasional use the compressor developed an air leak internally - could hear the air hissing loudly when connected to a tire. I contacted the manufacturer and they are sending me a replacement. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Easy to use
I was looking for a dual powered air pump for my vehicle as I have a slow leak in one of my tires that I am too lazy to get fixed. This air pump is easy to use and works well. The air hose slot in back is a great design feature and helps keep the pump compact. The storage bag has ample room for the pump and both the AC and DC power cord. I've only used the AC power so far, and the pump adds air to my tires without an issue. The automatic shutoff based on a preset psi works great. It takes approximately 15 seconds per psi when adding air which is not as fast as commercial pumps. That's a small inconvenience for being able to fill my vehicle's tires with air in my garage when it is 0 degrees outside. I would recommend this air pump.

Hose is a bit too short and gets warm; OK otherwise
I like the small form factor, the AC power option, and the soft carry case. The gauge on my unit reads to within 1 PSI of my Accutire digital handheld gauge. It works as advertised. Set the target pressure, press the power button and it inflates to target and automatically shuts off. What I don’t like: The air hose is at least a few inches too short. My midsize sedan with 225/55R17 tires, when the valve stem is at the top of the tire, the hose reaches but the unit is lifted up and sits vertically on its end instead of flat horizontally on its rubber feet. The air hose gets very warm during use. Odd because the unit itself is cool to the touch. There was a nasty odor the first time I used it to top up my tires. Used about 5 minutes on and 3 minutes off for each tire. Perhaps this odor will wear off with more use, but I’m concerned that it’s unhealthy. The AC cord is short which is okay as I can use an extension cord at home. However, the AC cord is also quite thin. I was a bit surprised as I’m used to thicker AC cords on most everything else that plugs in.Finally, my biggest concern is the plastic lever on the push on chuck at the end of the air hose. It feels flimsy. Like there’s some flex when you close it. If this ever breaks, it’ll make the entire unit useless as I don’t see a way to replace just this part or even the complete air hose itself. This product apparently has a 2 year warranty. I don’t anticipate using it more than a few times a year. If the company could improve the quality a bit to ensure it lasts at least 7-10 years, I would gladly pay $10-15 more for a better quality product. My old DC only tire inflator still works after 15 years and I paid only $30 for it. Its chuck is more sturdy and the hose doesn’t get warm but the unit does. The analog gauge is inaccurate and the whole thing vibrates like crazy during use. But it’s durable. I bought this one for the AC option and the auto shut off when target pressure reached. I hope it lasts.

Great for emergencies and to keep your tires topped up
I really wanted a portable 12V DC / 120V AC tire inflator for my car, and this fits the bill perfectly! Let me start by saying I would not expect this to inflate 4 flat car tries from 'zero' to 32psi - if you want that, this is not for you.I do (however) have a very slow leak in one tire, so needs to be 'topped' up from around 25 to 32 psi every 3-4 weeks, and this wonderful gadget does that perfectly. In less than 2 minutes it inflated my tire to 35psi (to accommodate for when you release the inflator you lose a little air), automatically shut off as it was supposed to and when I checked the pressure with a separate digital gauge, it read 32.5 psi - perfect!I really like the easy-to-read digital read-out and simplicity of use as well, very easy to change the pressure up or down to your desired setting, the adaptor set that came with it and the handy LED torch facility as well - flat tires always seem to happen on a rainy, poorly-lit or pitch-black evening. This is now stored in my trunk and I recommend it to anyone who wants a portable, flexible voltage inflator for the occasional top-up and also for emergencies (e.g. you get a flat tire on the road, and find your spare needs a top-up before you replace the flat). 5 stars!
