Helped me so much!
This floatation belt has totally transformed my comfort level in fresh open water! I’m not exactly a natural swimmer and tend to sink. But with this belt, I can now float effortlessly and enjoy the water without worrying about sinking. It’s a great way to relax and have fun, and it’s also a great way to improve your swimming skills by freeing up your hands and legs to focus on strengthening your core and legs. If you’re looking for a low-key floating aid that won’t hinder your swimming progress, this is definitely worth checking out!

Keeps me buoyant
I am 5’9 and 215 lbs. This belt holds me up in the 5ft side of the pool so I can water jog. Very pleased.

Fits well, could be more stitching holding belt to flotation material.
I've tried a number of flotation belts for water aerobics (in deep end of pool) and this one is excellent. Snugs up well in the back and the belt fits under the rib cage so it doesn't ride up. It gives me the flotation I need -- but would definitely not be a "safety" back-up for a poor swimmer. My only issue is that there is only one row of stitching holding the belt to the flotation material. I'm going to get out my sewing machine and run a few more rows before there are any issues.

Water workouts and movement therapy while recovering from injury.
I love this Aqua Swim Belt. It is comfortable to wear and great, especially for cardio exercise in water, if you are recovering from an injury.

I use for deep water aqua exercise. Once I got it tightened right, it worked beautifully

Ir is not enough to float
It does not allow you to float enough to perform the exercises. You have to move constantly so as not to have your head under water.

Oustanding Belt for Deepwater Aerobics & Aqua Jogging (reviewed by an instructor)
I taught deepwater classes at a Y for years. I have used many brands of water floatation belts. This is the one I buy for personal use and recommend to friends for home pools -- the price to quality is an outstanding value. I think it is more comfortable than some of the pricier belts, and it "just works." It doesn't get in the way when you move or chafe. The belt webbing is woven through the holes correctly (buckling inside, not over the top of the foam)--which some of the cheap Chinese knock-offs get wrong. If you have a very dense body mass (e.g., heavy set with tons of muscle) and tend to "sink," you may need a bigger, more dense kind of foam--but for most women, this belt is a great choice for deep or shallow water aerobics and aqua jogging. Just be sure to pull it tight before entering the water -- all of them float up if not tightened correctly at the beginning.
