The build quality is also good for the price
I was concerned from the other reviews if this case will fit the camera module or not. To my relief it fit perfectly. It holds the camera module snug and has a little slit for the ribbon cable to pass through. The build quality is also good for the price. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend.

Lucky me, the camera fit perfectly with no modifcation needed to the case.
I was pleasantly surprised when the camera that came with my "Raspberry Pi Ultimate Camera Kit -- Includes Raspberry Pi Model B+ Board --5MP Camera Board Module and 15 Essential Accessories" fit without modification to the case. (It was actually a total pain to get the RPI B+ board in the case that came with that kit.)I read the reviews and figured the first thing I'd have to do was mod the case. I'm a hobbiest with dremels and xactos and such so I figured it would be no big deal when people said you had to cut it to get the lens to line up with the hole. But I snapped it in and it fit perfectly. (I do not know if there are multiple manufacturers for the RPi camera module so I don't know if there may be other cameras that almost identical but won't line up perfectly.)I did put a 1/2" piece of clear tape over the top to make sure it doesn't accidentally pop open. It is true that the click close isn't that stiff.I kinda think $8 is a bit steep for a itty plastic box. But without an easy alternative and not wanting the board open on my desk, I figure it was worth it.

Nice camera kit
Really nice little case to go along with the camera I bought in a kit. Fits good and comes with two mounting screws and some double-sided tape to allow you a choice of mount options.

Looks good, but ended up useless to me.
I got this to be used with the Vilros Raspberry Pi B+ Ultimate Camera kit.... the camera module that comes with that kit is "based" on the Raspberry pi camera design, but I have not checked if the specs are perfect. Even so, for my purposes, this box did not fit the camera perfectly (specifically the camera lens didn't fit through the opening), so I couldn't use it.As for its overall design, I do like how it was put together and designed. I did worry the angle they gave for the camera was miss aligned for how the raspberry pi cable would come out, but as I am not using it I do not know if it would cause as much issue as I thought it might.I will most likely use this as a product design for a 3D printed case that I will design and print that does fit my camera. Ultimately I was trying to save design time, print time, and print material cost, which didn't work out this time.

Absolute Garbage
If it was possible to give negative reviews I would. This case is actually worse than garbage. Because of it's poor design it not only doesn't hold the camera right but it will actually damage the camera. It holds the camera in place not with small screws but with posts that the camera sits on in the front piece and a post on the back piece that "pushes" the camera forward. If you don't have the camera perfectly positioned and try to put the back on, that post will damage the connections on the back breaking the camera.DO NOT BUY THIS CASE. The $ you save are not worth it.

Works wonderfully and protects the hardware
This case fits the pi camera perfectly. You must be careful and not get impatient. It is a somewhat tight fit but this is what makes it a good fit.

Alignment issues interfere in what would have been a good case.
Mine had the board fit in well, but I had some other problems. First and most importantly the hole for the lens to go through is not in the exact location that it needs to be. It is about 2mm to high. It doesn't interfere with the camera when taking a picture but since the alignment is off, it doesn't close as tightly as it should. And since it is just a snap fit, the ribbon cable springy-ness can cause the case to open. If the lens hole was correct this would have been a great case.

The camera doesn't line up properly with the holes, ...
The camera doesn't line up properly with the holes, but since some do and some don't, it may depend on who made the camera. If that's the case, I can't fault the shell for alignment issues, but bear this in mind before buying. The secure holes line up to the hole placements on the Meccano building kit, and I built a frame to house the camera and the RPi safely. The unit does fit snug but it doesn't snap properly, so it holds as long as it doesn't get bumped too hard. A little tape keeps it secure.
