Update 06/19/25The seller reached out and offered a replacement, which I declined. They then refunded my purchase price. This was decent of them and I'm appreciative they were so responsive. However, I still do not recommend this product...I'm still out the $40 for my dome light fixture that was destroyed, and I'm lucky it did not start a fire!Update:I have since discovered that this bulb actually rendered my entire fixture unusable. It scorched the inside of it and it is now blown. I can't use it for any other lightbulb now. And my poor beardie is going into hibernation mode because it's not warm enough in her enclosure now until I get another one. This company should have to replace that for me!Original review:I ordered this and started using it right away. It seemed great at first. However, this morning shortly after it turned on I heard a loud noise that sounded like sizzling and I looked over and smoke was pouring out of the fixture. Thankfully I was in the room when it happened, so I quickly turned the power off to the fixture, but the whole room smells terrible now. My poor beardie. I think she got scared, she's now hiding in her rock cave. I got right on here to see about returning it and the return window closed May 28. Almost exactly 2 weeks ago. This is highly disappointing. I would choose a different brand if I were you.

Works as it should, packaged well and fair priced

Burned out rather quick, but did maintain heat. Good for the cost.

Works great for my bearded dragon without being overly bright I can't comment on the lifespan yet as I have just received it but I have no doubt that's a great value for the money👍

This was my first time using these bulbs and I'm happy to say the first one died one day shy of 5 months. Two others are still working. This is the absolute best longevity I've ever seen in reptile bulbs.My Uromastyx hardly ever came out before I got these bulbs. With these bulbs I started to see him more often. Then, I insulated his tank and now he's out at least every 2 days.Yes, I'm buying more of these bulbs.

So I bought the bulb in the winter to keep my terrarium warm in the colder weather and it worked well for that but when I went to change the bulb back to a lower wattage bulb the metal piece at the bottom of this bulb broke off and stuck inside the socket of my heating lamp. Will not be buying again personally
