Good item which is just right for my needs, nice price and fast delivery. I needed a vent cover to fit on the outside wall, connected to our tumble dryer outflow, to keep the weather out and stop debris getting onto the vent. This cover works perfectly for the application, just the right size as well.

Fantastic quality

Good price and decent build quality. Works as intended. However, it's not a great fit for the inside diameter of a solid vent pipe - too loose and no spring clips. Also, there's no fixings supplied, and the screw fixing positions aren't standard - only a problem if you're looking to replace an existing grill, as you'll need to drill new. Flaps open and close, so it does the job.

Having had a traditional louvre duct cover which the flaps were in the habit of getting stuck open I purchased this item having read the reviews.The cover looks very neat however I wanted to echo some of the comments made in other reviews.The cover doesn’t come with any screws – not a problem I thought as I have a number – however the pre-drilled holes are very small so even for the screws I had it was a challenge finding ones suitableThe internal plate to prevent back draft has lugs on either side at the top to slot into some pre-drilled holes – in truth it took me a while to get it in position as in my opinion the lugs are a little on the short side – but I managed in the end. I noticed others said about affixing a nut to the plate to add extra weight and prevent it rattling – I didn’t but with the intermittent rattling I will do so.The tip by another reviewer about sealant around the outside was a good suggestion and gives a nice finishOverall it looks good and does the job – and is (will be) better than the previous louvre fitting I had

I use this in a temporary window bar (hand-made from cardboard) to extract paint files. Decided on having this style.of vent to stop any bug or dust ingress and to have something that would keep things from entering the exhaust. The plastic is a little bit cheap/brittle and I did break one of the small lugs that hold the flaps on when I accidentally dropped it. This was easily fixed with a super glue and bicarbonate of soda mix filed down to size.
