Q: what differences are there compared the the older model. the buttons,clearly are new. this says it has tempered class did the old one have that?

The Artist 22E improves upon the Artist 22HD's design with the addition of two sets of express keys-8 on the display's left side, and 8 on its right. This layout is optimized to comfortably suit both right and left-handed use.We also improved the direction of his interface, making it more Comfortable.And Old products will still be sold.

Q: Can I leave this turned on as a regular monitor as well, or should I turn it off until I use it?

I use it as a second monitor all the time. I've been doing it for more than a year already. Not a problem. The pen charge didn't seem to be affected by this.

Thanks for your question! The Anti-glare film is under the plastic layer, and the plastic layer needs to peel it off before use. The Anti-glare film has been pasted on the screen in perfect, it's hard to find out, if the screen does not reflect lights, then it means the Anti-glare film is there
