Surprisingly handy
This has been a great addition to our kitchen! Not only does it work as intended for making pancakes and waffles, but it doubles as a shaker for making protein drinks! My favorite part is that it cuts out the inevitable mess that occurs when transferring batter from bowl to pan, so the counters and stove top stay clean.I've found that the max is two cups of pancake/waffle powder mix in the bottle or there won't be enough room to mix it all up. I tend to add half the water, shake it, then add more at a time until it's the desired thickness. This makes enough pancakes for three to four adults depending on hunger levels and other breakfast items served with.

Great for Kid Entertainment at Breakfast āNo more LUMPS ā I'm a Pancake Artist ā Dishwasher Safe
I am so impressed with this product - it is a "Pancake/Waffle Game Changer". My father has said many times "I wished this was around when I made pancakes for you and your bother every weekend".It improves mixing (Metal Whisk Ball) to eliminate lumps. Greatly reduces cleanup as you do not need a big container, whisk/spoon etc. Pouring is easy and you can make "Pancake Art" which kids love - letters, their name, dinosaurs, all depends on your skill. Art aside, the nozzle provides for consistent sized pancakes. This is the pinnacle of pancake technology & design. The plastic is thick, durable and seals well. It has never dripped and is dishwasher safe. Putting the pancake mixture, water, milk, eggs, whatever is simple - the bottom cap serves as a base and holds the container so you have both hands free. It sits there very sturdily and does not wobble. Once you close it up to shake, the metal whisk ball does all the work and eliminates lumps.Another application I have used this for is salad dressings and whey protein mixing.PROSā Can become a waffle or pancake artistā Easy Mixingā Mess Free Mixing, Pouringā Dishwasher SafeCONSā Not ideal for SUPER thick batterTIPSš” Fill to 3/4 max for better mixingš” Let the batter rest before cooking.š” Use a griddle for consistent heat

Wanted to love this
I wanted to love this so much. Itās easy to use and clean, comfortable to pour right onto the griddle with, and itās good to mix all ingredients in this. I didnāt like how you end up wasting a lot of pancake batter. Batter sticks to the sides and in the nooks and crannies of the bottle, and thereās no easy way to get it out to use it.

This is one of THE best things I've ever purchased from Amazon!
Okay, this might seem as though Iām going over the top in my enthusiasm for the Whiskware Pancake Batter Mixer, but I really DO think that this is one of THE best things Iāve purchased from Amazonā¦EVER! This gadget works amazingly well. It is easy to use and the results are good enough to eat! (Excuse my pun, but I couldnāt resist!) The directions are simple. This is what I did yesterday morning: 1)I put in the wire ball that comes with the mixer into the container.2) I Put in my wet ingredients. (In my case, this was one beaten egg and ¾ cup of whole milk.3) I Put in my dry ingredients. In this case, I used Carbons Golden Malted Pancake and Waffle Mix which I will DEFINITELY write a review about! It is so easy to make your own pancake/waffle mix, but Carbonās is in a league of its own. For this recipe, I used one cup of pancake mix. Hint: measure out your dry ingredients, whether a mix of your own from a recipe into a small bowl and then use a spoon to put your dry ingredients into top of the mixer.4) I screwed the top of the mixer on tightly and then shook the daylights out of the mixer! Hint: Try rotating the mixer after youāve shaken it in one position. This will help ensure that no dry ingredients stick to the sides.5) My recipe called for adding a few tablespoons of melted butter. After doing that I shook the container again to make sure the butter had blended in. Then it was time to make some pancakes!6) I heated up my nonstick pan and added some butter.7) I unscrewed the top of the container and let some pancake batter flow out into my pan. Because my batter was thin, I didnāt have to squeeze. If your batter was thick, you might have to, but I donāt imagine it would be a problem.8) When the edges of my pancake were firmed up, I flipped it and saw that it was a beautiful golden brown! In no time at all, pancake #1 was on my plate, waiting to get buttered, followed by pancakes #2-#5. These were small pancakes, just the way I like āem, in a nice little stack. Time for some locally produced maple syrup, and voila, breakfast is served! Hint: One thing I learned in culinary school was to ALWAYS use a warm plate when serving warm food because it REALLY sucks to have what youāve taken a lot of time and effort to prepare to arrive to your customer, cold!!!9) After a quick photograph of what I had prepared to share with all of you Amazon shoppers, it was TIME TO EAT! All I can say about how well my Whiskware Pancake Batter Mixer worked is YUM!10) I still had some pancake batter left, so I screwed the top on and put the container in the refrigerator. This morning I took the container out of the refrigerator and saw that my batter had solidified, undoubtedly because it contained butter. I couldnāt warm it in the microwave, because of the wire ball, so I filled a large bowl with warm water, and put my container in until the batter was back to normal. Then it was time to repeat what I had done yesterday and enjoy another āshort stackā of delicious pancakes! One feature that I like about this product is its ability to store batter for when you need it. Another feature is that you can easily make whatever SIZE pancake you like. Personally, I enjoy small ones.I havenāt had a chance to try this out yet with my waffle maker but will probably do so soon. I imagine it will be easier to control the amount of batter, so as NOT to overfill the waffle maker. Donāt you hate when that happens, and you have a mess to clean up?Speaking of cleaning up, cleaning the Whiskware was easy as pie. Simply rinse out any excess batter, put in some dish soap along with some warm water, and shake. The wire ball helps mix up the soap. Rinse everything until clean and youāre all set until next time.If you enjoy pancakes and waffles, I HIGHLY recommend the Whiskware Pancake Batter Mixer. I donāt think you will be disappointed! Iām not being paid to write this glorious review, but if the manufacturers feel like sending me some special pancake mix, I wouldnāt complain. (hint-hint!)

Making pancakes has never been easier!
This thing makes pancake mornings so much easier. I add the ingredients in, shake it up, and pour. No bowls or mess. The little blender ball inside helps mix everything up nicely, and the spout gives you good control, which is great if you like getting creative with pancake shapes (I don't lol). Plus, it stands on its own, which is super handy.
