Working fine and good quality
Challenging to find an active hdmi in and dp out cable and mostly they does not support some laptops , but this cable is working good but a little costly it is.

Expensive but WORKS
Finally - something that I needed badly. I have a mini PC and PS5 with one gaming monitr which has one HDMI and DisplayPort. Without checking I was ordering all DP to HDML cables and wasting my time since the cable which I needed was HDMI (from min PC) to Monitor (DisplayPort). I did lot of searching then ended up finiding this one as we don't have much of options for this use case. This cable is little expensive but works fine. Now I can use both my mini PC and PS5 without having to remove the cable everytime. Thanks CableCreations.

No so good
The product works and is too costly. I was using this in 2-laptop-single monitor mode and It does not always work when I switch the display. Looks like something buggy. But it is working correctly in direct use.

Doesn't work. NO REFUND MADE
It doesn't support PS4 as mentioned in the "note" section in the description. It has been 14 days and i have not received my refund. DO NOT BUY

NO extended display through DP out, it only gets duplicated. So same content as monitor with DP in.
Seller needs to mention that DP out (after we use this extention in an extended monitor with DP in) does not further extend (like Daisy Chain). It only creates a further duplicate display. So we don't get a true DP like functionality to extend. Buy if duplicating the 3rd monitor serves your purpose, pls go ahead and buy. To clarify, one gets extended display on 2nd screen where we do a DP in but from there for 3rd screen we don't get extended screen. It is only duplicates screen for the 3rd.

Expensive but works flawlessly.
Wanted to get it for my xbox one s.My monitor has only display port.This is my setup if anybody is interested.Xbox One S to this adapter then from the adapter to the elgato capture card and then the usb to the laptop.

Anyone owing xbox must go for this cable as it can send video formats from xbox to ur monitor which has dp port..it's a cable which can connect ur xbox hdmi port to ur monitor dp port hassle free....no doubts go for it.....Hmmm should have added a long length wires for easy portability....long length wires is a drawback for such a great product.

Not for LG ultragear with PS5.
Works with my laptop 2k 120hz but doesn't work on my PS5. Monitor is LG ultragear 32GN650. Yeah it's disappointing.

Works as described...
Needed something to convert HDMI output to DP input.Having used CableCreation products previously, I decided to give this adapter a try.Worked like a charm upon first installation.Build quality is great, and the length of the USB cable to power the adapter is adequate enough (at least for me).And yes, you do need to plug in the USB cable - otherwise, the adapter will not work. I plugged mine into an available USB port on my computer, but I'm sure you could also plug into any USB charger.No issues with image quality, no flickers, no blank screens.It works as described.

Funcionou perfeitamente para usar a Cintiq Pro 13" num notebook
Pesquisei muito por uma solução de adaptador para meu notebook Windows (que não tem entrada displayport/mini displayport), quase comprei um que não vinha o cabo usb (que serve pra gerar energia ou algo assim) o que não teria sido suficiente. Fica a indicação pra quem tiver com problema similar ao meu. Recomendo também comprar logo um hub usb porque a cintiq vai gastar DUAS entradas USB + o HDMI

Works great, even on 21:9 aspect ratio!
I bought this because I have three monitors with DisplayPort but only two DisplayPort ports on my PC. I use this on a 21:9 monitor without HDMI 2.0 running at 1080p. Not only does this adapter function (albeit a bit limited when you push it hard) without plugging in USB, but it can push 159 and 161 Hz. For some reason, 160 is a problem for it, but I haven’t found another refresh rate that causes issues. An unexpected benefit of this device is that I can get complete use of the 21:9 aspect ratio on my monitor over HDMI. The monitor doesn’t have any HDMI 2.0 ports built in, so I couldn’t use any HDMI devices with it (well, it stretched a 1920x1080 image to 2560x1080) before. So it can successfully convert from DisplayPort 1.2 to a fully featured HDMI 2.0 port. Great purchase and excellent bang-for-the-buck.

HDMI to Display port output. You can connect this adapter with a laptop having HDMI output and monitor having DP input. You must have a DP -DP cable.
