Replaced a battery in a 2018 15" Pavilion laptop for a friend. The old one was pillowing and was even preventing the touchpad from working properly. This one was a direct fit, slim and appears to work well. Only been in a day or two - so no idea about longevity, but it fit fine, it works, and hopefully the old laptop has a few more years due to it.

Needed to replace the battery in my HP laptop due to it not holding a charge and getting a nag screen about needing to replace the battery. After opening up the laptop found the original battery was swollen due to HP's crappy battery management that doesn't let users limit the charging of the battery to only 80% when plugged in constantly. Anyway, found this battery replacement on Amazon for an affordable price with a bonus of 2 screwdrivers for removing the back cover of the laptop and the battery. Easy swap, and NO problem with the HP BIOS complaining that this wasn't an HP original battery (like some reviews stated). Battery seems to hold a charge for about 6 to 7 hours if attempting to use the laptop on battery only. My laptop is plugged in most of the time anyway. Glad I made the purchase.

I bought this for my wife's HP Pavilion 15 laptop since her battery would only last a couple of hours on a full charge. I watched a youtube video which helped and replaced the HP battery with this one with no problems. It fit perfectly. I closed up the laptop and plugged it in to charge for a few hours but the laptop display always showed zero power available. It never indicated charging. When I took it off power after 24 hours it immediately turned off. I opened the laptop and replaced the new battery with the old one, closed it and found that it showed 85% available, it was plugged in and charging. I then took it off power and it stayed on running on battery power. My conclusion was a defective battery. I requested a return authorization from Amazon, got it and shipped back the battery for a credit. I have ordered a different brand of the same battery which I'm hoping will work out.The supplier DMKAOLLK INC reached out to me to apologize for the problem I had and offered a full refund. Amazon has already authorized the return and issued a full refund so I must decline the offer. But thank you.

The only issue I had was prying the laptop apart to remove the old battery and install this one. Other than that I give it 5 stars. A perfect fit and my laptop is rejuvenated.
