Helpful, high quality product.
I like the sturdy quality of this pocket chart. It is easy for my students to understand and to practice place value with the help of this chart. We are using it to count the number of days we have been in school, but also take it down and use in other ways when it fits with our math lessons.

Works for me!
I have this stuck on the outside (facing inside) on a non-sunny window and can see the large numbers easily. I also chose the window because it's in a room that does not get the usual indoor heat and therefore truly reads the outside temperature. It always is working (getting the solar charging it needs). When the sun finally gets to that side of the house, it will influence the temperature reading to hotter than it should be, so I don't bother to check it in the late afternoon. The product is great for what it does. It has stayed stuck on the window since the first day. It's just a little limited if it's in direct sunlight or on a window of a warm room.

Great must have product!
My son loves this product. He's 7 years old. We homeschool so we're using this for his 1st grade curriculum. He's learning place value this year so this is a great visual hands on tool for him and he loves using it everyday. It teaches ones, tens and hundreds for place value. It's sturdy too!

Great counting tool
This has been a great purchase. It is really making a difference for our 5 year old to understand counting by places (ones, tens, hundreds). We use it as an incentive where he earns points for accomplishing certain tasks and as he adds the points in, he gets excited getting another bundle of tens, etc. I bought some small rubber bands to band the ones into a bundle of ten and tens into a bundle of hundred so visually it makes a difference.

Great way to reinforce counting up
Great way to reinforce counting up. I use this chart to track how many days we've attended school. We recently reached the hundreds, and it's exciting to know that my students will be able to count to 180 (which is higher than the required 120 for their grade level). The pieces are easy to manipulate, so even my clumsiest students are able to change our daily number and counter sticks.

Great for Number Sense
I use this with my 4 year old and I cannot believe that one person gets so excited about getting one straw a day. Ten bundles are magical days; his head will probably explode the day we get to 100. He's already making connections between the ten bundles and the Base 10 rods, and his number sense is amazing. I wish the numbers were printed on slight thicker cardstock, but otherwise it's sturdy and holds up well considering the main user is an exuberant four year old boy.

It's okay...
This is a great product to teach place value, but I wished I would have bought the more expensive yellow one. I should have read the description a little better (my fault) because it only comes with 20 number cards. You need 30 to use this effectively, so I will have to make another set myself. Also, the cards are flimsy and not laminated, and it doesn't come with the rubber bands. The extra pocket is nice for storing the cards and straws when not in use.

Great Product
This is a very good product. The material that it is made out of is vinyl and plastic, and seems to be well sewn to last. The numbers are just printed on card stock. And the straws are just like those little straws you use to stir your coffee with. This is a product that someone can easily create at home if you wanted to. But i wanted to purchase this for homeschooling purposes...whenever i can buy real teaching materials without having to make my own stuff, i like to.
