Made in China. Not sure why all of these nonsense German answer. Go to the Heritage Steel website. It clearly states it is made in China.

The blade is 8" long, handle is 5" long.

Q: How do you sharped this knife?

Uses standard knife sharpener. It's one that sits on the counter and just put the knife in and sharpen it. The knife I use the most I've had for about 10 years and it stays sharp
