Okay, so to get it out of the way - this is literally just a stand/holder. If you're asking about does it charge or anything, no it doesn't. Also of course it doesn't drain the battery - your battery will drain over time on its own. That's just an apple pencil thing. That said, that's all I really wanted and I love it. I'm so careful with the apple pencil since it's fairly small and can roll off into the negaverse at a slight bump. This is a sturdy holder and short of completely knocking it over (which isn't really easy to do since it's weighted pretty nicely) your pencil isn't going to go anywhere when it's set in this. Is it worth the price? I think so - it's sturdy and very visually appealing. I could get something less pretty for cheaper if I wanted to, but I think this is a pretty aesthetically perfect addition to most desks with the range of colors available.

I needed another stand for another room. Was looking for the Belkin version that I also have, but it is no longer available. I think I like this one better. Great weight, solid construction and the neoprene is a bonus.

I was looking for something to hold my pencil when not in use, this is the perfect option. It’s completely stable and I don’t have to worry about it falling over.

This isn't really necessary but I love to put my Apple Pencil in these on top of my desk. I love the look of it!

Fits my Apple Pencil with or without the silicone sleeve. The concave top will hold it horizontally but I like the vertical position better. The aluminum insert gives it weight & the silicone keeps it from sliding around. Recommend
