Peace in the COOP
These have really chilled out some of our moody hens. Hasn’t affected their eating or drinking and no more picking on one of our smaller hens.

Works on mean banty X rooster
Working! Distracting a moderately mean rooster from attacking me at chore time. He tried once, then didn't seem to approve of the disorientation he had. 1 week in, still working!! This actually clips to the comb, I couldn't tell that from the pictures.Edit: After several weeks, it pierced the comb.... Further edit, it should clip into nostrils.

Decent
These work perfect for chickens that are on the aggressive side. The only thing I’d say is to maybe put in instructions on which way they go on because my wife and I put them on wrong and didn’t realize that till we saw the chickens couldn’t use their beak to eat so that’s why the 4 starts, include instructions

Not for Orpington
This did not work for my Buff Orpington. They were hard to get into place. She could totally see around them and continued to attack other birds. It crushed down her comb. Yes, they were in correctly. We triple checked and compare pictures. They are just too small for a Buff Orpington. After about a week, we gave up and took them off her. I was so sad to see that they had caused her nostrils to swell up. It’s been a week now and the swelling is starting to go down. Her comb is starting to go back up straight. I totally regret this purchase.

May work for some, but not my mean chicken
I bought these, based on reviews, for our mean chicken. She was chasing, pecking at and ripping out feathers throughout the flock. So much so, that she killed one of the smaller chickens, pecking it to death. We built a separate pen for her until these arrived. They were stiff, so I warmed them in warm water a little bit. I made sure it wasn't too hot. The tool that came with these is a must. We put her back with the flock and she still managed to see where the other chickens were on the sides of the peepers! She'd spot them, then turn quickly to peck them. We sent her to a farm with a rooster!

They work. Why? Who knows, but they do.
It came with pliers, and I thought they would be really cheap, but they aren't. One chicken was able to pull off the peppers, and then the next day I tried again, and it that one stayed on. Who came up with these things...I mean, what kind of brain thinks," how about if I put blinders in my chickens??" But they do work. No doubt.

Easy on
Installed 35 peepers. They were easy to install and the pheasants are not picking on each other.

It helps some
Our little chickens and chicks are doing well but still pecking on our weak pair. Also the tool to put the peepers on is cheap but we made it work. Overall we are satisfied with this product.
