All I hoped for in a small shelving unit.
This chrome 4-shelf unit was easy to assemble with its included instructions. It is a substantial shelving unit, not flimsy. The support poles screw into each other by way of the threaded pole connectors (already installed in the supports) to make this quite sturdy. Just be careful not to cross-thread those when you put this together. The four bottom support poles already have the leveling pads installed. Each set of supports is marked on the plastic wrap for top poles, middle poles, and bottom poles. The plastic tapered locks attach to the grooved lines on the supports. They go on easily and can be removed just as easily if you want to change the level of a shelf. The grooved lines are at 1-inch increments, so you can put the shelves at any level you want. This shelving unit is exactly what I wanted when I ordered it and meets all my expectations for obvious strength, utility, and durability. My assembled unit is 17.5 x 11.5 x 43.5 inches with all the leveling pads screwed in (shortest).

Great shelving unit
Needed a very specific dimension of shelving to go in a storage area between some pipes and ducts that obviously couldn't be relocated. Also needed the shelving to be moveable, in case techs need to get into that space to do work. This product is perfect. Fits in the space just right, has wheels so it can move if needed or be locked in place, sturdy metal that also looks nice. I'm able to store a good amount of household supplies on it. At some point, I might get a related clear shelf-cover plastic mat setup but for now, the bins and boxes I'm using do just fine.

Poor Customer Service
The rack itself seems to be working fine and was typical to assemble for this kind of product. My removal of a star is that the product came in slightly damaged (but not unusably damaged), one of the little foot attachments had its plastic floor stand protector broken. I wrote in to request a replacement and never got a response.

Great instructions. Nice light duty shelf.
Really impressed with how great the instructions were and each part labeled. Will definitely be buying from them again. My fault the shelf wasn't wide enough for 2 totes but will work out just fine to help organize my sales items.

Tardy reviewing this
Well, it's been a couple months since I purchased this to use as a potting storage area for my plants. This is perfect for that. However, I couldn't find anyone to put it together for me. So today this 76 year old great grandmother bit the bullet and did it myself! Yes, I'm sure it took me much longer than other folks, but the main thing is if I can do it, so can anyone! I had one misstep - totally my fault. When I was putting the last/top shelf on, it slipped out of my hands and landed so hard on the clamps that they came apart and flew all over the place. I thought for sure those clamps would be broken and wondered now what am I gonna do. It took me a while to locate all 8 pieces (2 per clamp), but as a testimony not one of those things were broken! To me that shows just how sturdy these pieces are. Needless to say, I am impressed with the unit and myself, too! Lol!

Five stars but heads up...
Five stars but heads up. The wire shelves have a ledge around the edges forming sort of a basket over an inch deep. This basket does NOT point up it points down. If it pointed up then things would not slide on and off the shelf as easy. In other words the things on the shelves would be more secure. But the ledge (basket) points down. On the other hand it is easier to place and remove things on the shelves as they just slide straight onto the shelves without having to lift them up over the ledge around the border of the shelves. This is designed to be that way. Not a mistake. The instruction sheet clearly says and shows them to be that way.We have seven of these wire shelves in various rooms of our house and garage. They were from five different companies, different brands in other words. In three the ledge points up. And in four the ledge points down. So these shelves come in both configurations depending on which you buy. There is NO way to change this. If you turned the shelf upside down then the shelves would be held by supports that taper narrower on the bottom. In other words the shelves would fall down if overweight or bumped hard. So you have to have the shelves being held by supports (the black plastic things that snap together) which taper larger on the bottom. This absolutely positively holds the shelves from slipping downward. All of these wire shelving units are solid and sturdy. So you have to decide which of the two systems you want to buy. Ask questions, that's what Amazon gives you the opportunity to do before purchase. This shelf holds 250 pounds EACH shelf. That is considered standard duty. There are some shelves on Amazon and elsewhere that will hold 800 pounds on each shelf. Those are REALLY sturdy (and more expensive).Instructions are good, assembly is fast.HInt: get a rubber mallet, one with a heavy head to pound the shelves down onto the supports. It will not damage wire shelves when struck by a rubber mallet, even a heavy one. Look for a 2 pound head mallet. They are cheap and have a million uses around any home or apartment from time to time. You will not need any other tools (although a tape measure helps to make sure you putting all four supports for each shelf at the same height without counting up nineteen grooves each support or whatever which will do the same thing. You don't need a measure. You do need a mallet!
