It Fits & It Works - Can't go wrong with a Classic Cross
Fits & works. The Classic Cross is one refill I have no problem finding. I still have 5 other pens that need refills but they are poorly marked/described so I have no idea what will fit and what won't - why they've sat in a drawer for a decade or two, unusable. I do have one Cross issue - I've lost the gold cap to one of my Classic Cross Pens and I can't see to find the part. Any help out there?

Nice Quality Cross Pen Refills.
I like a fine point pen. I've had carried Cross pens all my life. My Dad introduced me to Cross Pens in the 6th grade. Still have that pen. In stores it's getting harder to find Fine line quality.

They're all write.
The two pack is somewhat superfluous given that I will, most assuredly, lose the second refill long before I empty the first given that the longest thing I write in this digital age of ours is the one check I still mail out each month. I've been considering giving that up and just having my bank automatically cut a check each month, but, maddeningly, one can only select the date the automatic check will be sent and not when it will arrive. What if, the paranoid portion of my brain wonders, the date I select for the check to be sent out falls on the Saturday of a weekend with a banking holiday on Monday causing my payment to be delayed a full three days, making my payment arrive late, and ultimately resulting in my having to pay late fees? Why can't I just select the date I want the check to arrive and have the bank's software walk the date back automatically and figure out when the check needs to be sent out in order to arrive in time? I'll tell you why: because then I would never write anything longer than the word "milk" and it would take 9.3 times longer for me to need another Cross refill. That's minus 1 star, Cross. You lost the second star because the photo of the pen refills clearly shows them mystically floating in a white void. I was, therefore, understandably upset when I opened the box to find them nestled in mundane cardboard and plastic packaging. If I'd wanted such boring packaging I could have gotten in my car, driven to Office Depot/Max, paid three times as much, wasted approximately an hour of my time and burned some fossil fuels in the process! Alternatively, I could have ordered the generic brand that never writes as smoothly for 76 cents less. Instead, I was seduced by the promise of pen refills endowed with powers of levitation. For shame. As for the three stars you actually earned: the pen refills write beautifully, fit perfectly into my pens and are an all around quality product. See what you can do about addressing the two issues above and I'll consider revising my review and giving you some stars back.

Perfect fit!
Can't find these refills in store anywhere anymore, so I went to Amazon and they are exactly what I needed. Great quality, great value for your money, no smearing, no leakage, and dries quickly. VERY easy to install!

Refills Work Well - no skip etc
Unlike the blue refills I ordered, these work well. No skipping with the refills. These were fine refills and they worked unless I tilted the pen too far back. The line thinness is ok but not great. The medium refills lay down more ink and a much larger [wider] line IMO. I like fine tipped pens, like .38 Pilot G-2, and these Cross refills put down a wider line than that and the Cross doesn’t feel quite as smooth. Nonetheless, the Cross is heavier and has better balance & is easier to write with over a long period of time. So, 5 stars.

Update: Issue remedy
The problem I had with the refills was remedied by simply wiping the nib with a bit of nail polish remover! I think that's something that really shouldn't need doing, but it yielded the desired result. I'm once again in love with my Cross pen and will reorder without hesitation!! ----- The last few times I'v purchased these refills, they've been awful. I've had to resort to holding the nib over a flame to get any ink to flow. I have wondered if they've been warehoused until the ink has petrified, or if they are knock-offs of Cross refills, or if Cross's well-known quality has simply nosedived. I use my pen for journaling, and the current refill stops writing so frequently it has made this impossible. I am a hopeful person, so I keep reordering, thinking maybe my last few purchases were just a "bad batch." But I'm close to giving up.
