Nice
We have 3 now for our compost. They work great. Not sturdy if need to move them.

Good, but heeds anchors or stakes.
It works well, but would be better if it came with stakes. It blew across the yard in a medium windy day.

So far, super easy!
This composter was so easy to put together! The quality seems good and came with a book and composting tips. As soon as the storms are done this week, I'll be putting it to use! Will edit the review once I do!

flimsy material
I bought this to replace 20 year old Biostack composter. This was easy to assemble but the lid did not fit tightly or snap shut. I tried using a small brick to keep the lid in place but the material as too thin to hold the weight. I gave up after 6 months and dumped it.

Large and sturdy compost bins
These are pretty nice compost bins that are easy to assemble and hold a lot of material. The sides all snap together smoothly. The lid is pushed down into four holding points on the top of the back panel, and the small compost door on the front just slides right down into place. If you have trouble getting the lid fastened, place the outer two pins in their slots, then center the middle two pins and push down hard and they should snap in.The individual plastic pieces may not seem that sturdy while you're removing them from the box and assembling them, but the finished product seems very stable. The lid functions well and snaps down in place on the front edge so you don't have to worry about it flying off during a wind storm. There are holes near the bottom where you could stake this into the ground if you wanted to, but I'm not sure it's necessary if you fill it up at least halfway.I'd also recommend purchasing a compost aeration tool (search Mr. Compost Tool on Amazon) as a handy accessory for a vertical compost bin like this. It makes turning the compost in there an easy chore. It's a simple design (and a little pricey), but works excellent.

Recycle, Up-cycle
Love this! Very convenient set up back behind my shed, out of sight. It is always full, and my kitchen scraps go there regularly. It is not huge so it can be overwhelmed by my lawn debris, so I am a little careful what I put in it, but it is always hungry!I did have to put some straps around it because it was too easy for racoons to get in at the corners. I put a couple stakes in the ground next to it and ran two ratchet straps around it. No more getting in and it added stability to the bin when chock full. I put a brick on the lid to ensure nobody could get in that way either. There is a huge science surrounding composting but for me this works fine. I have thrown some lawn fertilizer in it for nitrogen but if you put your grass clippings in and you fertilize your lawn then job done. When things are particularly dry, I pour a couple gallons of water in to keep those microbes happy.Open the trap door, insert your shovel and come out with some very fine compost. Its small size will be it major limitation depending on how much stuff you need to compost. It did encourage my neighbor to add their kitchen scraps (no proteins) to the bin which I though was great.

The easiest way to compost food waste, cheap looking but also unobtrusive
I used a spinning composter for a while and IMO this basic design (just a plastic box that is open on the bottom) is far better for most folks. The spinners take over an hour of (frustrating) time to assemble. You can put this together in 5 minutes without looking at the instructions. With the spinners, I found it almost impossible to keep the compost dry enough and you really have to search out sources of brown (leaves, cardboard, etc.). With this one? Man, I just dump food scraps in there and forget about it. It's good to add browns, but if you don't, it's still OK to be honest. Looks-wise you can just kinda hide it ninja style in the back of your yard and it's just (literally) a black box so pretty unobtrusive. It is for sure flimsy but as far as I can tell doesn't really harm the functionality. The lid sorta clicks shut but I think the odds are about 99% that eventually the plastic tabs break and then I'll just put a brick or something on top, so not a big deal but if you really want something more durable and better looking just make your own compost box out of wood probably.
