Looks the same, but doesn’t properly fit or blend - UPDATED
The 7-fin ninja replacement blade looks the same as the original, but it doesn’t fit properly on the base or blend as well.Problem #1 - when the blades are screwed onto the pitcher ready for blending, the blades must be forced onto the Ninja blender base. Not just a little force, but enough force and pressure that I’m worried I am breaking the base. If it isn’t forced on, the blender will not operate.Problem #2 - the blades do not blend as well as the original blades. I am not sure if it is a different thickness of stainless steel, but when making a smoothie, the blades will not chop up the frozen fruit like the original blades would. A smoothie is no longer a “smoothie” it is a half blended “chunky.”The only reason I am giving 2 stars, rather than 1 star is because the blades do make a tight seal around the pitcher/cup so the liquid contents of the pitcher do not leak out.Update 2024: There is some issue with the bearings because this thing is dangerously loud. These blades were loud to begin with, but something has changed and it's now dangerously loud. My ears ring for a few minutes after turning the blender off. My family must leave the kitchen whenever this is being used.

Almost identical to the original Ninja blade
The media could not be loaded. The original blade that came with my Ninja blender broke so I had to find a replacement. I purchased this after market part from Amazon and here are my thoughts on it1. First, the design is almost identical to the original part, there are some minor differences in the blade design, but they are so minor that I don't think it will make a difference in the way it blends the foods.2. Weight. The blade part weight is pretty much the same as the original part.3. Durability - I haven't had it for long but the part seems to durable and I would expect it to last a while. It's nice that it comes with the extra gasket in case it needs to be replaced.Note: I'm giving it 4 stars because the blades are not pre-assembled out of the box, so you have to screw in the blade and it took me a while to realize that you have to screw it in the opposite direction for the screw to go in. Also my wife assumed that the extra gasket had to be used as well and she tried to install it, which caused some issues and again it took me a while to realize that the part already came with a pre-installed gasket, so perhaps some instructions would have helped.

Works like the original
My original blades still work but the silicone ring turned black after 2 years of sloppy family members not washing it frequently. There are no good replacement rings on Amazon. All of them have terrible fit.The only place to buy OEM blade replacements is the Shark Ninja store, and I am not about to pay $46 when the entire set only cost $120. The negative reviews for this blade replacement worried me but I figured since 75% of customers got a good fit, I'd take a chance. It is a perfect fit. After 4 weeks and 15 blends, it still works great. Though, the blade is already as dull as the 2 year old original blades. The set includes a spare silicone ring which resurrected my old blade assembly. Now I have two working blades.

Decent but LOUD
This seems to be holding up well and is considerably cheaper than the $35 OEM replacement. It is so loud though, like twice as loud as the ninja brand version, you have to leave the room when it's running.

Works just like the original
I put my blender blades through a lot of work due to daily smoothies. This held up fine just like the original.

Recall this! It's dangerous
The Ninja professional 900 watts blender is very dangerous! I used it to blend fresh produce to make baby food and I noticed this weird brown, oily, rusty residue on the back side of the blade. I touched it because I knew I never made anything brown in the blender before and smelled it and it smelled like iron and had the consistency of sludgy oil. I am not a scientist but I am sure this is toxic. I searched the internet and found many Amazon reviews with similar findings for the ninja blade. I found more information from another site that this is lubricant oil and can rust with iron in the water when washed. People further said that when they added water only in the blender cup they could see brown residue leech into their cup where the food normally is which means we are consuming this brown residue. I'm extremely worried because I was making baby food for months. I threw all the baby food away and am buying organic baby food from the store. Tomorrow I'm taking my baby to get labs done to make sure my baby doesn't have too much iron which can be toxic for babies. I'm keeping all this evidence in case my baby and family devleop health problems from this Ninja blender. I think it needs to be removed from Amazon for safety and a recall should be done. I don't know what to do but warn people to be careful with the Ninja blender.
