Fantastic tarp with strong tie off points and quite waterproof.
This was a fantastic tarp. Went camping at the Delaware seashore campgrounds and used this while I was there. I have to say I was most impressed with how this tarp held up in the strong winds and the tie down tags held quite nicely with no rips or damage to the seams or the tarp itself. To give an idea on how well it held up, the wind was so strong that I had to use multiple guy lines on the tarp as well as the tent to prevent them from blowing away and to keep the tent upright and not flat on the ground.

Definitely a great tarp and sold at a fair price.
You can find plenty of tarps like this. The difference is find one that has 19 tie down points like this tarp has. And 4 of the 19 tie points are at the "Ridge Line". And that makes this perfect for use with a hammock when backpacking. Also useful for camping etc. Not as light as some other tarps but it's definitely not the heaviest either. I am very happy with this purchase and will be putting to use Hiking very soon.

Torn between 3 and 5 stars
I like Kalinco tarps, but am a little bummed that my 10x15 ripped at one of the tie out points the first time I used it, while tightening it on the ridge line. I had it for a while, but hadn’t taken it out yet. Overall, I still like it, I just hope it doesn’t get any more rips or tears.

Not the top in its field, but cetainly not bad
I like this tarp, I haven't taken it out into the field yet but did set it up in the yard, and it does a good job repelling water. It appears to be made of a thin but quality looking and feeling material. Having not used it on a trip yet I cannot attest to it's rip stop capabilities. I would say in that in my experience in woodland camping that for the price it should do what you expect it to do, quick to set up, though the longevity may not be that of a more expensive material and stiching, but I would still recommend it as a cheaper alternative to the costly name brand versions.

Nice tarp. Does exactly what it’s supposed to.
This tarp is excellent quality. it functions exactly for what it is. Not sure if it leaks because we haven’t had any rain to test on. But it does protect if you put it over your campsite, it keeps the sun out and protects you and the coverage is of the size that I bought so it covers well. Very durable.

3rd one. Pretty good tarps for camping.
This is my 3rd one of these. I do like this model. It seems well made. I have found that the tighter these are strung up, the more the sewing gets stretched so they will leak water at the corners. But it is the nature of the beast. I will spread them out this summer and re-treat them. Probably seam seal in areas that I know will need some extra attention for wet season in the PNW.

Solid 3x4.5 Tarp
I have not yet taken this out - I have looked at all of the seams and anchor points - This appears to be a strong and durable tarp. The heat tape along the ridge line seam I observed no issues - The stitching on the webbing at each anchor point is good and looks to be on par with DD products. I saw some reviews done in rain and water does leak at the anchor points, looking at the one I purchased I see I can go around the anchor points with some seam sealant. The fabric construction is seemingly the same as my DD tarps. The black in color reinforcement material at the anchor points is not the same as the brand mentioned above, I do not see any issues there. I have tugged on these by the webbing they're solid. I will update this review once I have had this out in the woods, IF there are any changes to the expectation of a great performance.
