ICM Controls ICM206 Delay On Break Timer, 4 Terminal with 10 Minutes Fixed Timing

Works as designed. But my fan is controlled by the thermostat. So when this device has the compressor off, the fan will come on without the compressor, blowing warm air. I had to wire the fan relay to the compressor relay so the fan goes off too. Disconnected the fan wire to the thermostat so I can no longer turn on just the fan from the thermostat.

Work perfectly, was easy to install

This item was installed on an a/c packaged unit to keep the compressor off in the event of a power surge/outage for five minutes to allow the pressure to equalize before a/c start up. It protects the a/c compressor. The title is incorrect about fixed timing, it is adjustable.

AC wasn't working in my House, didn't have the time or money to call a technician, so after a little research and testing for myself I concluded this was the issue. Glad I was Right, more glad that it worked.

I should have added this to my AC unit years ago to protect the compressor from a rapid restart with a power failure.
