Better than the old type brake solvent
Works as well as the nasty old brake solvent. Made the brake job on my '06 Benz easier and cleaner.

Works fine
Doesn't smell "too" crazy, seems to have worked fine, and isn't super expensive. We used it to clean up my son's engine parts when we pulled his cylinder head to have rebuilt. While it was off we used this to clean the block, pan, spots around the engine bay, timing belt cover, front of the engine, and the outside of his intake manifold. It still has a pretty stout odor, so you'll need some ventilation. I did it in my detached garage with the small personnel door open a few feet away from me and it was fine.

Worth every penny
Absolutely amazing actually. Worth more than the stuff you buy at O'reilly's or Napa, and isn't as expensive either. It blasts off the garbage with good pressure, and really does just eliminate everything from the surface of whatever you're working on. Personally, I did not buy it to do brakes solely, but nobody does probably. Did not seem to affect rubber, but I can't speak for the synthetic stuff you could come across.
