07/09/2024- It is heavy at about 20 lbs but the battery lasts 8 hours easily. I assume the internal batteries are responsible for the weight but this is as expected. It is a very nice portable TV and when combined with a fire stick is great for using on the terrace. The sound volume is somewhat limited as others have said but not an issue for me. The screen image is bright and clear. Mine has a defect in the image - fixed horizontal line across the lower quarter of the screen and ghosting of the upper screen image on the lower screen. I'm in contact with service and so far they have been very responsive (Tess) and I will update this review depending on how they help me. Likely a defective unit that I bought in March, 4 months ago - will see if they replace it and update you on progress.07/23/2024 Update - The company rep couldn't have been nicer and they are shipping my Monster TV back for servicing or replacement. They paid the shipping cost too. This company really stands behind this product - which is a great product in my opinion - and I will post a further update when my issue is settled.08/15/2024 Update - The Monster company shipped me a new replacement unit. It works just as it should. What a great company that really stands behind their products. And it's really a great product. Mated to a fire stick this gives a great picture and I can watch TV including live TV outside on the terrace. The battery lasts 8-12 hours of normal use. I love it and have recommended it to several friends who have all ordered one. Buy one and you won't regret it. My highest recommendation and thank you to a great customer oriented company.

This is a fantastic entertainment center.It's not just a TV. If you purchase a Roku 4K stick, plug in to the HDMI and the USB port in the hidden enclosure. The Roku will NOT list the TV to program the remote but it WILL control the TV. Turn on CEC in the Monstervision setup and then program the Roku remote to program the TV. Choose CEC and if it asks then choose Monivision as the TV brand. Once programed you can control volume, mute and turn the TV off to standby. To turn the TV back on, press the TV's volume switch. You can also protect the screen by purchasing a BoxWave Screen Protector Compatible with Monster Vision Portable Entertainment System - ClearTouch Anti-Glare (2-Pack), Anti-Fingerprint Matte Film Skin. This is an excellent and easy to use product.

bought this as an emergency tv for storms and to use around our firepit.the screen is bright and clear. the antenna is actually much better than expected. it picked up 5 stations in side my house, which for where i live and the construction is actually pretty impressive. the audio is a bit weak even with the 60wt "upgrade", especially for noisy outside environments. it does have an audio out i can feed to a better speaker, but i wish BT for audio was available.overall i am happy.

I purchased this tv because I’m a gadget guy and love fun cool gadgets. What’s cooler than having a portable tv? At first i thought well my laptop can do that? My iPad can do the same? I was wrong. The built in speaker is great. The fact that you can plug in the included antenna(replaced it with a better one) and watch over the air broadcast is wonderful. I take this outside with me while I’m grilling to not miss any of the game, i have a bar room with a projector and a standard tv and I’ll have a game going on all 3. I’m looking forward to camping with this as well. The battery has held up well for my needs. I don’t regret purchasing this at all. I do wish they made some kind of protection for the screen. I use a blackstone 17 inch grilling carry bag to transport. It’s definitely a cool/useful gadget!

Purchase came on time as was packaged very well. No damage what so ever to the unit. The included manual was easy to understand and all features worked (although I haven't tested the microphone). The TV picture is sharp but it has limited adjustment features with only preset functions like movies. or sports. With the enclosed antenna I'm able to receive 60+ channels but I do live in an urban area. I attached a Roku streaming device to one of the HDMI ports and it works without any problems so I can stream channels as well. The speaker is loud enough for my needs but again there is a limited adjustment feature. FM radio works great as well as bluetooth connected devices for music. There are 2 USB ports. One just charges small devices like phones, The other has multiple functions, it acts as a power source for the antenna and Roku device. It also allows for USB drives to play music, videos and picture files that are loaded on the drive. It supports multiple audio and video formats. I like the fact that it supports TS video formats since I can directly copy a pre purchased DVD to the USB device to watch movies. As one other reviewer noted it only plays USB 2.0 devices. I found that true. I couldn.t get a 3.0 device to work even after I reformatted it to FAT32. Also. one reviewer said that it wouldn't support close captioning when using a streaming device. With my Roku device closed captioning worked. Over all I'm really happy with this purchase and I've been using whenever I sit out on my deck or patio.

I purchased this unit only to use it as a portable TV with a battery in case of power outages. I have been trying to scan channels to view on TV mode to no avail. Using the included antenna, no channels can be located, not even one. I used two other antennas that work perfectly on another portable TV, and I got the same result, not even one channel. I connected the antenna back to my other TV, and had reception on 23 channels placing both TVs side by side. I will return it.
