I've always had the problem of typing at night when only a side lampshade is in the living room. A backlit keyboard was only part solution, as I couldn't find a decent one, so I went back to old-trusted Logitech and added a LED strip under the monitor.This had two problems: the light was on a wrong angle so not reaching the keyboard, and too bright so caused glare.Solved the former problem with a 3D printed housing for the LED strip, to keep it on a correct angle. While this little board solved the glare problem, a USB connector was soldered to it, the output to the LED strip, so I can adjust the illumination to the keyboard to any intensity.Problem neatly solved with very little money!

Used to replace failed speed control on a Halfords 240v type dremel. Works perfectly with added bonus you can alter the lowest speed using the pot on the board.

First time using this, and it was perfect as there was no soldering required.

Using this to control a router on a router table and a drill being repurposed as a disc sander. It controls motors around 550W really nicely with good range of speed from mine to max. Very happy with these 2 units

These things are teeny tiny. I bought them to control a 12V fan in the RV and it works perfectly.Note however that the collet of the potentiometer is quite shallow. Anything thicker than a few millimetres will be a struggle to attach the nut onto it. I ended up having to glue it in place through a blanked mains switch panel but it works fine.
