Perfect! :) New to the world of rivet nuts, a recent household project presented a challenge whose easiest solution was the use of rivet nuts. Needed something that was easy-to-use, came with simple instructions, and included everything needed in one convenient case. This set exceeded expectations. Undoubtedly the perfect set, very well organized accessories, and worked incredibly well! Very pleased with this purchase! :)

The handle length makes it easy to set the rivets without having to pull too hard. The instructions tell you how to use the gauge if you're using smaller rivets, to prevent ripping the rivet out while setting them. If you are using larger rivets, watching the gauge isn't needed. The instructions were a bit confusing to me, but the tool is easy to use without them. I read that some people were stripping out the rivets. I did that as well, but it was because I was using the wrong adapter for the rivet I was setting. Somehow, a rivet of a larger size was mixed in with the container I was using.Definitely worth the buy. You can buy more expensive sets, but they don't come with anywhere near the amount of equipment this one does, and it's equally as durable as the others.

I'm a professional mechanic and this saved my rear end. Pulled a dash on a 2003 dodge 2500 and the a pillar riv it's was just spinning with the bolt. I removed the a pillar, cut off the head of the bolt, punched the old rivnut through then used this tool to install m10 rivnut and installed the a pillar professionally. It was a professional job. I ordered this overnight and it was amazing I got it at my door first thing in the morning before work. Did a quality job right there. Thanks Amazon.

However the 3 separately sold mandrels was a bit of a sore rub. Theres even the spot in the case for storing them!!! The case for holding these rivnuts even has a spot for each of the 3 missing sizes!!

Great tool! - Wide range of mandrel sizes with plenty of rivet nuts for each size - The perfect kit for any handyman or DIYer!! - Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks and get this kit with 15 SAE and Metric mandrels. You never know what size you'll need for your project - with this kit your covered.As far as the kit itself - it comes with a sturdy case that is very organized inside compared to others - someone put some thought into this one. The tool is very well made and I honestly can't see ever having a problem with it. The smaller mandrels could break if not careful - There is a easy to follow formula in the instructions to reduce or eliminate any damage to the mandrels using the compression gauge on the tool.All in all one of the best tools I've purchased in a long time!!! Definitely a winner, get one for yourself, for your husband or whoever is a DIYer - they will be just as happy and excited as I've have been!!

GIANTISAN 16-Inch Rivet Nut Tool I purchased this Rivnut tool to replace my previous 15 year plus model from another manufacture that is a completely different style. I do maybe one project a month where I need rivnuts and this Giantisan tool is just right. Yesterday I installed a series of steel 1/2 inch rivnuts, the tool worked great. Only improvement I can think of is 18 inch handles for better installing pressure, but that would mean a need to beef up the materials the tool is made out of so higher cost I am sure. Speaking of cost, this 16 inch tool is about 40 bucks more than others of the same type I looked at, the Giantisan has good reviews, so went for it, so far meeting expectations. For the average home DIY guy or gal doing maint and hobbies this tool should do the job and last many years. For a commercial shop requiring rivnut installs every day, probably not. Air tools would be the norm, but the Giantisan ( play on words I am sure ) would be a great back up

Never used it before. Hanged an ac on my truck. Took me 2 rivets to learn how to do it. It is great.
