yes you can, you will need a aux cable to connect through headphone socket on the tv

Q: Hi! Is this product made in China please?

The says " made in China", but nothing visible on the unit itself

Q: Has anyone managed to change the welcome message from Chinese to english? I’ve done what it says in the instructions but it doesn’t work.

Mine "spoke" English when it arrived

Q: Is there a type of tf/sd card recommended? i have tried several, formatted to fat, fat32, exfat even ntfs and it just jumps back to 'bluetooth mode'

I use micro SDXC exfat, no problem. The device recognises the source. May be a fault on the Sonkir, it should recognise the source and switch to that automatically - possible return as faulty? Hope that helps.
