CR8010 mylar adhesive-backed PVC cards are typically applied to proximity/technology cards. Mylar offers a greater thickness compared to paper backing and allows for easier feeding. Adhesive backed PVC cards are ideal for printing on most direct-to-card printers. Measuring 3.375'' x 2.125'' (the same size as a credit card), CR80 cards are the standard, most commonly used plastic card size. CR80 10 mil mylar adhesive back cards are also known as CR8010 or CR80.010 cards. If you will be placing these cards on pre-slotted access control cards, you will need a slot punch to make a hole in this adhesive-backed PVC card. Slot punching should be done AFTER printing to avoid damage to your printhead. These graphic-quality mylar adhesive back CR80 PVC cards are vision inspected for quality and packaged in five shrink-wrapped packs of 100 for a total of 500 cards. Note: This product is not compatible with Magicard printers. Magicard printers require the use of M3610-054B adhesive backed cards. Note: 10 mil cards may not feed into every card printer. Works as described
They work fine, we use them as stickers to put over our employee HID cards. I have had some that were more expensive that actually work a little better (more sticky) but these are inexpensive so when we change employees the ability to pull the sticker off the card and replace it with a new on for a new employee is simple and efficient. No issues printing on them. (we use an old evolis pebble printer and also a newer Badgy 100 printer.)

I purchased these after my company ran out of cards and needed some sooner than the expected lead time from our regular vendor that we purchased the printer itself from. These cards were a good alternative. They are identical to the cards we’ve been using.. maybe a hair thinner but not noticeable enough to create issues printing. Thermal transfer printers are notoriously finicky so I was concerned about deviating from our norm, however I was pleasantly surprised with these.
