I’ve only tried this product once, and it worked well for me, especially for an old guy with baby-thin hair.The only way to get it is by ordering it online, as it’s not available in brick-and-mortar stores.It’s also a bit pricey. In the future, I’ll only buy it if I can find it on sale because I have other good-quality, cheaper products I could consider.

Not for me, but good product. I love Baxter, but the clay is better for me. This reminds me of liquid mousse, kind of makes your hair hard. Buttttt it makes your hair shine and will withstand outdoor weather. Depends what you’re going for

This is my replacement for a Keils product I used for years and it works just as well if not better. I use it everyday.

My mother is a higher end stylist and this is the only product she has endorsed with me. The only odd thing with getting it from here was the bottle and color looks slightly different than the ones you get from a beauty supply shop, that seemed a little strange to me but, it seems to be the same product so, we'll see. 🤷🏼‍♂️ If my hair starts falling out I'll update this but, as of now so far so good. 👍🏼

I was expecting a lot more from this product given the price and the good reviews. The scent is kind of weird, I don't like it. And it is not strong hold at all if you're hair is wavy as mine. If you really need a strong hold, this is not your product.

Works well and smells good

I have fairly short hair that I style forward with a little lift/body up front. I'd been using a clay type product which works pretty well. This stuff looked interesting so I gave it a try.First of all, the smell is really great, as others have said. It smells far better than my clay (which is more akin to gorilla glue in that department). It is definitely a masculine scent. I don't find it overpowering though, especially once it's on and set.It comes out of the tube well and did a nice job spreading through my slightly wet hair when I rubbed in it. It did an excellent job of keeping things in place for me (once I found the sweet spot of not too little and not too much to use). It does give my hair a nice sheen, or a kind of wet look, without looking or feeling greasy. It does a good job of maintaining that strong hold all day.As an experiment, I ran my hand through my hair a bunch after this gel had been in all day. While this, understandably, did reduce the hold a bit, it still held pretty well overall and didn't break down to the extent other gels or my clay might. Nice!While it doesn't feel greasy at all, it does feel a bit crunchy in my hair once it is sets. It still works well, even after you touch it (as described above), but it definitely doesn't feel supple. They don't really advertise it as a supple hold, so that's fine I suppose. I do feel like "no crunch" is a bit of stretch though. For certain styles that's not really a problem.

This product grew on me, I apply when hair is wet and it helps keep my hair tamed for rest of day. I may apply a baxter pomade later when dry. Huge plus that this does add thickness to the hair. I dont think its very moisturizing though.
