Perfect for removing tint from home windows
My home had tint (aka film) on multiple windows throughout the house. It was old, had bubbles, and discolored. Spent a lot of time online looking at how to remove window tint that mostly applied to car windows but should work for home windows. This window scraper worked very well. I bought the replacement blades as well and went through roughly one blade (both sides) per 72"x72" window. For anyone trying to do this - here is what worked for me.1) Use masking tape and plastic (same as painters do) for the bottom of the window sill. The glue and scraps of tint film will be coming off from the window and you don't want to be cleaning it off the paint and floor afterwards2) Have a spray bottle with dishwashing soap and water mix. The ratio of soap to water doesn't seem to matter, just enough soap to make the water soapy.3) Peel off any tint that you can with your fingers. Saves time.4) Start scraping from the top down. I used a decent amount of force and momentum to scrape the tint - trying to get the film off. The glue is stubborn but what really worked for me is constantly spraying as I went, specifically the areas where there was glue was exposed because the tint came off with the scraper first.5) That's it. I didn't need any special cleaners to break apart the glue because scraper took it off.Tips:- If a part was stubborn I would try to scrape from different angles and/or soap spray and work in a different spot before going back 30 seconds later.- In the beginning I was always wiping the glue off the blade and handle using paper towels. I then realized that I could just keep going and let the glue fall on the plastic and not worry about it. Once the glue mixed with the soapy water it stopped being sticky and I would simply flick the scraper at the plastic to get the glue off.- My goal was to take the tint film off with the first pass of the scraper, expose the glue, spray soapy water on it, and 15 seconds later the scraper would take off the glue with much less effort.- A lot of videos online mention first spraying the window, covering it with black plastic bag, and using heat gun or the sun to warm up the glass so the glue starts to soften with the heat and moisture. I did this on the first 2 windows but in the end saw little difference when compared to just using some effort with the scraper to get the film off and expose the glue to the dish soapy water enough for it to start coming off easy.Hopefully this helps someone who has to deal with the same thing.

Great product
This scraper cleans the soap grime on shower glass and works well on car glass too. I wish it came with spare blades but I'd but it again

Really works
We use it for our cars' windows (hardened birds poop), home windows, shower doors, everything. It doesn't scratch the glass. BE very careful when taking off the blade cover (which is not easy), because the blade is very sharp.

Blade's don't last long
Handle has a good grip and is sturdy. The blade's feel secure in the handle, and for the most part this item functions pretty well. The blades got dull quickly while removing glue from glass/windows, that were otherwise, clean and free of abrasives.Replacement blades are specific to the brand/handle and are expensive and there are only 5 to a pack.
