The recipes in this book are beyond basic and somewhat unconventional; so much so that that most do qualify as "confections", but not "truffles". It's as if the publisher searched the internet and threw together a bunch of shortcut recipes for the local Auxiliary candy drive. If you know how to heat cream and stir melted chocolate, you've surpassed this book. If you're looking for a collection of creative and flavorful truffle recipes, my suggestion is to use the cost of this book and put it towards a more qualified book.

Who doesn't love chocolate?This Homemade Chocolate Truffle Cookbook has about forty different and easy to follow recipes for preparing homemade truffles for any occasion that can also be given as gifts.Easy to follow. My only grouse is that there are no photographs to enhance this book.

The recipes were basic and not as they should have been. The photo on the front implies that you can learn to make the chocolates shown but this is not the case - very misleading and not worth the moneyAlso measurements in cups is annoying!

Ich habe das Ebook im Rahmen einer Gratis-Aktion heruntergeladen, um die Herstellung von Trüffeln auszuprobieren, was mit den hier gebotenen Rezepten auch gut geklappt hat. Zahlreiche Sorten stehen zur Auswahl, die Zutaten sind fast durchwegs im nächsten Supermarkt zu bekommen.Die beachtliche Vielfalt an unterschiedlichen Trüffel-Rezepten bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas, lässt sich auch für Anfängern problemlos umsetzen. Was fehlt, sind Angaben wie lange die fertigen Trüffeln jeweils haltbar sind (bei uns waren sie bisher nach 3, 4 Tagen aufgegessen).Die Rezepte sind leider nicht bebildert, aber mit Nährwertangaben versehen. Grundsätzlich gut nachzuarbeiten.Fazit: Wer mit amerikanischen Küchenmaßen vertraut ist und Freude am Rumprobieren hat, findet in dem vorliegenden Ebook viele Anregungen für prima Trüffeln sowie das eine oder andere Backwerk (z.B. Richly Flavored Truffle Cheesecake).
