A good deal for a walk-around lens
This is a nice walk-around lens for the money. The body is made of metal and has a nice solid feel. It has a wide focal range that operates smoothly and what I like about the aperture ring is that infinity works right on the infinity mark. Image quality is sharp in the center and the bokeh looks good. Lens flare is a bit of an issue so it's beneficial to use the supplied lens hood. Using the $15 off coupon at Amazon, it's a good deal for $145 in my opinion.

This lens never leaves my fujifilm camera
When I purchased this lens one year ago, Amazon was out of stock, so I ordered this from Linkdelight.com. I came back here to leave my review because, who doesn’t read Amazon Reviews?Since then, this lens has been from NY to Oregon and Florida. It’s small, light, and packs a wallop when it comes to images. When I moved to Fuji, I was already a manual lens user. I put old Nikon glass on my Canon 6D before people really started price gouging Nikon glass. So setting aperture and focus is something I love doing. I suppose this being a manual lens, tears people away from using it. That’s a shame because the image quality is really great. I’ve included some of the images I’ve taken with it. Besides all the mentions above, light & small, it is very close to being a macro lens. Distortion is low. I rarely remove this lens because it’s basically a 35mm lens on my Fuji x-e2. I cannot recommend this lens enough. It also comes in beautiful packaging. Get another lens cap, if you don’t like slip on ones. I would too, but this lens is always shooting something. It has no time to be covered!

Poor image quality, lacks sharpness or warmth
I was excited about the Zonlai 22mm f/1.8 because of its niche focal length and compact design but I found the optics the be less than acceptable. I tried two of the lenses with the same poor results. The lenses lack sharpness on any distance from about 50 feet up to infinity, making the Zonlai a bad choice for landscape photography.I compared Zonlai images with those from 25mm 7artisans and Meike lenses and immediately saw the difference. While both 7artisans and Meike are razor sharp at distances as well as near, the Zonlai is soft, and the image quality best described as "lifeless." There's a grayness to Zonlai images. All images were shot using a Fujifilm X-T2 camera in manual mode.Lastly, I must express that I believe all of the 5-star reviews for this lens may be "sock puppets" or fake. The lens is not very good.

Affordable lens for it’s capabilities
I use this lens with the Fuji xe-3 and pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pictures it can produce. Also love its minimum focusing capability.(15mm). Build quality is good but my copy has bit of rattle when attached to the body. I highly recommend the Zonlai for its price, retro feeling color rendition, super close focusing capability, good build quality, nice packaging with the supplied lens hood & the cap. If you love shooting manual Style then this lens is a must have.
