Great option for allergen-friendly and low-glycemic
This is one of my favorite flavors - the Cherry Chocolate is probably first. :) For an allergen-friendly, low-glycemic protein bar these are a GREAT option. I honestly enjoyed the taste of Quest protein bars more, but sadly, can no longer eat them. :( I'm a Certified Nutritionist and recommend these to our allergy and diabetic patients, for sure. :)

I really really WANTED to like these. REALLY
I really really WANTED to like these. REALLY! I don't know if it's just this box or what but they taste HORRIBLE. Almost like medicine. I love Zing bars but really wanted to lower my sugar grams in a protein/energy. I had a ThinkTHIN bar yesterday and LOVED how it tasted, however I won't knowingly ingest soy protein on a regular basis. Sigh. I will eat them because I paid for them. Maybe I will try another flavor.

Disappointed with the in bars
I had ordered the bars from an Amazon seller a few weeks ago and the bars were great! They were fresh and chewy. From experience with a local source, I know that these bars can be dry and lose flavor. I'm not sure if that is due to sitting around too long or a production issue. With this current order just received (5 boxes ordered), I have tried 2 bars from different boxes and they were both dry, crumbly and did not taste very good! I would love to know the difference from my first order (I would buy from them always) and from this current order. To be fair, I've only tried bars from 2 boxes, if all 5 boxes are as these 2, that would mean $174 of bad tasting bars. In summary, for me these are a hit or miss item.

Timely Service
I am very happy with this product. It is a vital part of my weight loss routine. Just recently, I got the wrong flavor. I sent the flavor I didn't want back and they sent me the flavor I did want. This all happened in a timely manner.

the taste was not the greatest and it was way too sweet
The bars are just rediculusly small in size. A couple of bites and it's gone. Also, the taste was not the greatest and it was way too sweet.

Too Bad It Tastes Bad!
I was pleased to find this product because I have multiple food allergies and there are virtually no snack bars I can tolerate. I really like chocolate so Chocolate Fudge sounded like the ideal flavor for me.Unfortunately, these bars taste nasty to me! Part of the problem may be that I don't like overly-sweet products and this is very sweet with a bitter aftertaste. It's not like the aftertaste of bittersweet chocolate, which I love, it's more like the taste of mixing a heavy dose of stevia in brown rice syrup. Ick!I note that many reviewers like the taste so you might like it too. Here are the ingredients:Organic Sunflower Seed Butter, InBalance Proprietary Sweet Blend: (c) (Organic Blue Amber Agave, Organic Brown Rice Syrup and Luo han Guo) Gluten Free Cellulose, Organic Rice Bran Fiber, Organic Rice Protein, Pea Fiber, Gluten Free Vanilla, Organic Crispy Brown Rice, (Brown Rice, Brown Rice Syrup, Salt). Mulberry Leaf Extract, InBalance Proprietary Chocolate Blend: (Chocolate Liquor, Cacao, Dark Chocolate.)Cellulose, really? That's not food unless you are a termite! Dr. Mark Hyman says it is "sawdust." It's used to boost the fiber content of processed food. And then there's agave, a fad sweetener that Hyman, Mercola, and others do not recommend. But do your own research. I suggest the search terms "avoid agave" to see why many health writers say to avoid agave.Since I got a box of 12 of these, I plan to use them as emergency snacks because I can carry one in my purse. If I eat only half of one, the taste is bearable and the calories (70 in a half-serving) will help me avoid the shakes until I can access real food.
