Shaving with this razor is an absolute pleasure and a breeze. I noticed immediately when opening the package this is a quality, heavyweight razor. It’s built like a tank and the knurled handle ensures that you will not drop it. I tried this razor last week as soon as it arrived and the results were outstanding. The razor tilts the blade so it cuts at an angle. It’s slices thru the coarsest beard with ease. It just glides down your face and the weight is a large factor in that. I had no irritation when doing a 3 pass shave. It is also a breeze to clean as well no hair or shave creme or soap gets trapped under the bar or the blade. I got one nick but that was not the razors fault it was mine and I was using a different blade than I normally use and soap. Highly recommended from myself!

A heavy razor, built ok, not very aggressive (efficient).I have many razors and this one I don’t use because of it being so mild.With a feather blade it gets the job done for the most part if you do a few passes.If you like mild shavers, this is a good chioce.If you like a more aggressive (efficient) razor, it might just sit on the shelf.

Unlike some slants that expose too much of a blade or that have a rake-like shape at the end of the head this is very smooth I almost did not feel any aggresiveness though I experienced a BBS with only two passes. The first with the grain and the second across. I paired it with Personna blue which is one of my favorites, an excellent opition for sensitive skin and strong beards. Though Putali Ltd. does not feature this slant in its official website it would be great to keep importing them from wherever they come from. A good product.

Good, heavy razor - probably twice as heavy as my (short-handle) open-comb Merkur. I've just tested this slant with Feather blade - and I got an impression, that 2 sides of the razor are purposely made with different angles (milder and more aggressive one). Shave quality is BBS.As of yet (I'll correct my review, in case it breaks in a few weeks/months) - highly recommended to people, who are interested in their first quality slant on a budget.

This razor is a gem.It is handsome and well designed, and gives a very close, comfortable shave with a minimum of effort.It’s a very substantial razor, quite hefty but with an excellent knurled handle that makes handling the razor when wet worry free. Very little pressure is required when shaving: the razor does the work.I use a Feather blade with the razor, and get consistently good results with two passes and a bit of clean up.Overall I highly recommend the Putali DE slant razor.

You better know what you're doing before you step up to this badboy. This combined with a Feather blade is awesomely dangerous. You better prep properly and have your alum block and styptic pencil at the ready if you're rolling with this combo. Great price / practice before I drop $135 on the real deal. Not for beginners.
